Jacking aid - Gauging Interest

Hey there Ron , by the time you read this you'll have realised I couldn't make the meet today, you see I tried to jack my car up without your "super duper jacking aid" and the whole floor pan just caved in  resulting in the engine falling out and sparking the fuel lines , which then detonated the fuel tank and blew the wheels and seats off into next doors garden  the ensuing furnace made for a great oven when me and the neighbours put our jacket spuds on and roasted marshmallow's off the window wiper arms  . The "Gt" badge thankfully was unscathed  it could have been a disaster should I have lost that :D
But on a serious note Ron , price was never really an issue here ,as all the lovely folk have confirmed to you .I think I echo what everyone is really thinking , and that is that you have gone out of your way to perform a selfless act for us all, which in turn shows the kind of genuine chap that you are . So don't you dare feel bad , we're all getting bespoke tooling for our concept cars for peanuts . So a BIG Thankyou from me. I'll have to pm you my address Sir Ron, as I couldn't pick them up today , sorry for the inconvenience. Payment however you wish obviously..... Hope you had a great meet

Hi OO58RON :greetings-wavingblue: ,,unable to get to the meet, BUT of course still would like one of your "tasty alloy delights" that you've had made out of your unconditional love for the Z' and all who have been chosen to own one !

..As one of those chosen, the increase over the initial estimated price is of insignificance for such a bespoke item as I'm sure all who purchase 'this seasons must have accessory' from you will agree

Just need to sort out delivery/postage arrangements with you.

.the big blue (..from the back benches wishing to applaud the right honourable OO58RON for his service to the Z' community)

I'm starting a new job on Tuesday. I'm expecting to get more time to do other things than merely working. It is my intention to go into a post office, buy some jiffy bags and establish the postal costs. That done I can get some off in the post.

Hi' OO58RON, and ladies and gentlemen of the Forum :greetings-wavingblue:

...I step up to the dispatch box in the Chamber and put forward a motion that OO58RON be made a "Knight of the Forum" then he could be given a stallion by Royal decree to travel around the Country delivering his "tasty alloy delights" in person !

I was just thinking that it would save him queuing in the Post Office having gone into one the other day 'post privatisation' and the 'service time' was the same as it ever was ,,AS were the yellowing and once white envelopes etc for sale at main dealer like prices. ..just imagine if the Post Office had a franchise to sell new cars !! :eusa-think:

.the big blue (....not intending to start a for OR against privatisation argument in the Chamber ,,but to merely ensure that we all have an apple for your horse and £15 cash ready when you knock on the door).

I have today been posting off these pads and sent out PMs to others at the top of the list to see if they still would like them. The cost of P&P worked out at £4. This is to cover the cost of the jiffy bag and 1st class Royal Mail. The maximum weight allowed for this category of mail is 750g, as these pads weigh a shade over 200g then the P&P is the same for up to three pads.

You are more than welcome. I am about to put mine to the test again right now. Wheels were re balanced after swopping from winter to summer tyres and they have left all the gunk from the old weights stuck on my wheels. So time to remove said wheels and clean them up again. Here's hoping that the exercise goes without a hitch

Just had to clean around the jacking points

Then fitted to perfection

The cut out bit, is intended to fit snugly around the thicker section on the front jacking points. For some reason the rear are different and do not require the cut out part.

Just done two of my wheels without a drama. Tomorrow will be the test of the newly straightened front N/S
:wtf:
