Have seen this upgrade but don’t know anyone who’s tried it, the guys at Pug1off do know their stuff and are constantly redesigning and improving parts for Peugeot’s.

There have been a few reports lately from owners who have had this issue which has totally immobilised the car and it has been this power control unit that has failed and only a Peugeot dealer part and quite costly. But hopefully you will only need the bsi reset.

Needle jumping from cold to hot before the car has warmed up. But like Nemi says could be Hp fuel pump, you need to see if there are any codes. With the temp sensor fault you normally get the fans running at full speed.

Shouldn’t be carbon build up at that mileage could be a temp sensor fault which is common and cheap fix check to see if temp gauge is fluctuating when cold.

What is the mileage? Could be sticking valves due to carbon build up on the inlets.
