You’ve got to go genuine part for the rocker cover I think it’s a matter of probably over tightening and maybe over time the plastic becomes brittle? As for the fans I know as you’ve stated duff temp sensors cause this but I’m sure the fans run mad with the smallest of sensor issues try...

Sounds like possible fuel pump, around £380 plus an hours labour to fit.

Have you checked the air filter? If it’s not been changed for some time it could be restricting airflow?

I’ve not used this trim before but I’ve heard you can apply it better if it’s been warmed up first like in a bowl of hot water :thumbup:

Ian, my timing kit was changed in 2014 so not sure what that does to your calculations? :lol: not sure about the lack of parts changed I just know they’re a top dealer and sorted the problem relatively cheaply :thumbup:
