Finally fitted mine (first set one was faulty) and they look very nice, lovely white light. No trips on the bulb detectors. I also fitted a road legal H1 Diamond White bulb to the auxiliary main beam and the effect is very pleasing. I was going to put an HID kit on that as well but the new bulb matches the Xenon bulbs now.

I have just ordered these:- 18 SMD LED Effor Free 'Can-Bus' car bulb 1157 380 P21/5W BAY15d £8.12

The more expensive ones that hopefully won't give an error message, and also won't look too blue !

I will let you know when they come.

If it is from the hq_auto_light, their lights are 6000k. Believe me I have checked with them so it will be on the bluish side.

Well, the bulbs came after 2 or 3 days. Popped them in ( took no more than 5 mins)
Turned on the lights and . . . . . Wow, they are a lot brighter !
I will say that they do look slightly blue, but that's because the headlights are yellow ish.
So, do I now have to change the headlights, and if so, what should I get . . . . . . ?

Looks great in the day though, much more modern looking.

Money well spent

Well I read through the 5 pages of this post and now I am not sure what I need to order to be honest :?

I have the Vision Pack.

Looks like the running lights are yellow and the fog lights are not that bright either.

So to those that have the Vision pack and have replaced these bulbs, what and where do I buy the best lights from (cost is not a problem for the best bulbs and ones that will not trigger a fault)? If they are a little blue I do not mind either, just want brighter ones than what I have.

Thanks in advance.

Well I got mine off CEDRO INTERNATIONAL TRADING Co Ltd they cost £10.91 delivered and have not triggered any fault warnings. 24 LED bulb S25-1157 P21/5W 380 BAY15d White is what it says on the invoice. http://www.hq-auto-lighting.co.uk

Appreciate the quick response. So I get 2 of these for the running lights, is that correct?

well my fog lights have never been used to date, but have had to replace one bulb and the same one needs replacing again.
apparently the inner wheel arch has to bee uncoupled to get to the bulb.

@OO58RON

Hey could you post a picture of the 24 LED bulb S25-1157 P21/5W 380 BAY15d White ?

I bought the 18 LED flux one from the same shop and they are slightly bluish. Was wondering if yours is whiter or also on the bluish side.

I bought them for my forthcoming RCZ that will have the vision pack but decided to put them into my current non vision pack RCZ and so in this car they do look quite different to the headlamps and appear blueish. But assuming that they'll be a better match with the Xenons.

Thanks for the reply 0058RON, i guess HQauto sells their bulbs at 6000k and this is slightly bluish. however hunting for 5000k p21/5w LEDs seems to be SUPER difficult !

Getting really confused by this topic :?

Im thinking of upgrading my standard running side lights, ive already got vision pack so in your opions should I go for a blue ish tint or white ish tint. Which do you think would look better?

I put the standard bluish tint LED's that match the HID nicely. I also but blue tine H1 bulbs in originally for the secondary Halogen bulbs but am now trialing HID kits on them which looks nice. I may put HID in the fogs as well although a put the white bulbs in there as well.

Be aware you have to take the wheels off to do the fog light bulbs!!

Hi,
10 pence worth ? RCZooM is that the right link to ebay ? only the bulbs in the picture are not the correct ones (E21s) they are P21s ? PLEASE correct me if I have that wrong, as I have ordered LED E21s to make my DRLs look right and not just "you left the side lights on mate!!"
I also think this is how they are getting round the lower output rules when headlight are on, as E21s are basic stop/tail bulbs so 21w and 5w elements.

Have any of you guys/girls who have done this mod got a picture taken in daylight ? Before and after would be nice !
