Yes interesting, at first I thought I might be able to change the speeds at which deployment of the `movable deflector` took place, but that was not the case. What I didn`t realise and became apparent was that the spoiler goes from partially open to fully open `under fast acceleration` at 129...
Pleased to say after getting some miles done, no further occurrence of the problem. Suspect the car just needed using and or the battery reset doing properly.
No problems with fans, car gets used mainly in rural areas with the odd run on the motorway, it certainly gets its legs stretched!
From memory after the last DPF differential pressure sensor changed there was no `risk of particle filter clogging` just maybe the battery being disconnected for a...
I had checked the Eolys fluid level which is at 80% full, the car only having done 26000 miles would `agree` with that being accurate. I had tried a differential pressure sensor change but the replacement was faulty! so the original is back on. Prior to my ownership the car had led a pretty...
The car is an HDi, Now here is a little puzzler....I am getting a `risk of particle filter clogging` message comes up just on occasion when according to the live data using Diagbox tells me that a normal DPF re-generation has taken place. The little warning triangle next to the milometer goes...
That is very good advice. I have done the oil and filter change within the last few days and will keeping a close eye on the sump oil level. I took it out yesterday and sat at 4000 rpm for around twenty miles in third gear. Which should have cleared some of the `muck` out of the DPF! The car has...
I wondered if any users of Diagbox or Peugeot Planet 2000 have found a way to wipe the faults journal, I am getting an occasional `risk of clogging particulate filter (DPF)` notification which goes off after a few miles.
i thought I had eliminated the cause which was an overfilled sump. These...
Got the answer from our local Peugeot dealer, one of the technicians remembered that they are integral with the hub bearing.
Checking on these just in case the ABS sensor I have ordered doesn`t cure the problem.
I am looking for the front ABS sensor rings in Service Box, I have found the rears which are apparently 4549 19 (2) looked under all the relevant sections I can think of and still can`t find them. Wonder if they are integral with the drive shafts or hubs? Anybody throw any light on this...
A problem.... ABS/ESC light coming on randomly, can stay out for days! Peugeot main dealer diagnosis is ABS unit fault, fault code C1381. That has been away for check and repair, but no fault found? Can anyone offer help on this?
Delighted to say I seem to have resolved this problem. Turned out to be the connector that plugs into the heated seat switch drivers side, replaced it with an old PC floppy drive power connector, (3 pins and same spacing) spliced into the seat wiring loom and all seems to be...
Set of four Pi lowering springs for RCZ HDi, almost as new condition. Progressive rate for more comfortable ride. 20 - 25mm drop. Postage to UK included. £70
I fitted some lowering springs to our RCZ some six or seven weeks ago, the main thing that attracted me to the idea was a post on the Facebook RCZ page from another RCZ-er who said that the ride quality was much improved. These lowering springs are often described as being `progressive ‘with...
Just a follow up on this problem. I found a small unit under the front edge of each front seat, described as `relays`though not as we know them, solid state I suspect there job is to do with the different levels of heat, they are tucked up underneath each corner of the front seats each side...
