Success with LED daylight running lights?

Delighted to say that these do the job; http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/380-Tw ... -Bulb.html There are no faulty sidelight warning messages in the warning log on the car, double checked using Diagbox and that is clear. The bulbs dim down as they should on sidelights. (should point...

Success with LED daylight running lights?

I tried these, but unfortunately they still produce a fault code, they are supposed to be Osram and Canbus but I have my doubts. Thank you for the help anyway.

    Tyre choice - feedback required.

Re: Tyre choice - feedback required. Forgive me if I am a little fuzzy on this but on the side of most tyres you will find a number that comes under the `UTQG` which is, and I quote, a standard defined by the DOT of the USA for grading the performances of tyres in the areas of TREADWEAR...

Success with LED daylight running lights?

Has any one had any luck with fitting 21/5w LED daylight running light/side lights. I have tried a few now, the last ones came from Hids Direct which were supposed to be canbus error free etc but still showed a fault on the display and on Diagbox. The lights worked ok but it would be nice to...

    Diagbox fault codes

I have become a fairly recent user of Diagbox/Planet and am running version 7.74 which is the most recent version I can get to run with Windows 7 (32 bit) However running a fault code scan I have a A4AE vehicle locking fault `short circuit to positive`come up. The car locks and unlocks fine with...

    Tail pipe finisher

Well my initial thoughts about this was if ever a car suited quad pipes, this is it! Looking at the custom made ones at around £300, which to me don`t have any advantage, either in power or anything else come to that, they maybe a lot noisier. So my thoughts went towards creating a dummy twin...

    Potential New Purchase

Quite likely that it is, suggest you bring this to your dealers attention. At the very least it could be that the chassis underseal around the jacking point area may be `broken`allowing rust to develop quickly. It is more likely that it will be one of the front jacking points that has folded...

    Tail pipe finisher

I am looking for the exhaust tail pipe `finisher or trim`, It is of course the twin outlet version. I wondered if anybody who has upgraded to the four pipe exhaust system now has one of these collecting dust?

    Trying to identify?

I hadn`t really noticed that number on the casting until I took the close ups! I did put that number into Ebay and found that there were one or two up for sale as for RCZ`s with that part number. I sent an email to a guy who specialises in ABS units but he just wanted to sell me one of his...

    Trying to identify?

The ABS `block` is located underneath and to the nearside of the front (N/S) chassis rail, mostly it is well hidden behind the front wheel plastic wheel arch liner and above the front undertray. I have done a google search on the numbers shown on the unit, and can only find a picture of another...

    Trying to identify?

I am trying to identify an new ABS control unit that I have, I was told that it is for an RCZ (2.0 hid) it has two sets of numbers with a bar code, but they don`t seem to correspond with the parts numbers on the Peugeot parts list. I wonder if I post them here that anybody can help identify it...

    12v feed?

Checking on the wiring diaagram, I see that the siren gets it`s constant 12v from the BSI unit. I narrowed this down to a small plug that goes into the BSI in the top right hand corner, this has a twisted pair of thin wires , one of which is 5v and of the other two wires the pale blue one is...

    Faulty Towers?

Took a ride over to Queensbury near Bradford recently (CarKeyProblems) to get a new key made. All went extremely well, he gave me a choice of styles of remote. Did the whole procedure while I watched and he explained, which was fascinating even down to a small milling machine that cut the key...

    12v feed?

I have had a look behind the rear N/S plastic panel inside the car where the rear speaker is, I have checked behind the N/S boot lining panel but can`t find the alarm siren, perhaps it is behing the N/S/R wheel arch liner?

    12v feed?

    I will check that out.......thank you. :)

    12v feed?

I wonder if anyone knows where I can pick up a 12v feed from on an RCZ, it will supply a tracker so the demand is minimal (only 22mA or so) but it needs to be unaffected by the car going to eco mode, so a constant feed but will be independantly fused. Thought it wise to ask before I go delving...

    Faulty Towers?

A few weeks ago. It went like this…………on Friday we drove over to York to a small company called Caboodle, they are something like a mini B & Q but with a business that produces replacement and spare car keys. We arrived at around 11.00 having phoned earlier to make sure they could produce an...
