I see that to some extent this has been discussed before, but Eco Mode seems to cut in very quickly. I know my battery is good so should have more than adequate reserves of power. As it is, it is not even possible to have the radio on for more than a few minutes of so without the engine running...
Thank you again for that suggestion, unfortunately I won`t be able to check this till after the weekend. Having gone into York today we called at a place to get a spare key cut and chipped, in the process of this something went pear shaped and neither key will now start the car. After five hours...

"The other course of action would be to simply ignore it. If there was an actual fault with a component, the fault message wouldn't simply disappear after a few seconds. But if it was my car, I would want to rectify the cause of even a temporary fault message, especially when it involved...
Delighted to say the fault is now cured, the previous owner had fitted a K & N filter during which he had taken the MAF off but replaced the wrong way round, he had also fitted a tuning chip which I guess diguised the inital lack of power. Of course I come along and remove the `chip` and get the...
Ok I am a little confused now, which doesn`t take much! The airbag light on the overhead display does indeed `prove out`with ignition on, but still get that fault message briefly `airbags or seat belt tensioner fault`, which is also recorded in the log.
Spoke with a Peugeot techie today, not a problem that he has heard of, in the absence of fault codes all he could suggest is fuel filter which of course is done. Along those lines, is there a water trap in the fuel line?
I guess it is like `limp home mode` but in reverse!! In a way it is almost a good thing because at least from cold it stops the engine being `stressed` until it`s warm!!
My new to me RCZ needs a new front bumper, which is on its way. I am thinking that when I get it repainted that I will have the central `bumper bar` done in the same colour too. Just curious if anyone has had this done, and what it might look like?
(Dolphin blue)
It has K&N filter fitted, which seems ok, not my choice though, as soon as I can find a support bracket for the original airbox, that is going back on! :eusa-think:
:helpme: I have a warning message flash up on ignition `on`, "airbags or seat belt pre-tensioners", it is only up for a couple of seconds and goes.
Have taken out the front seat belt units, all seem in order, no rattling which I understand might indicate a pre-tensioner has fired. Any one help...
My 2.0 hdi RCZ, has a problem with power, or should I say "lack of it", from a cold start there is very low power no matter how far I press the go pedal down, after about one mile normal service is resumed and the go pedal really makes it go!
Even after a shortish (say 10 minutes) stop the same...
