Set of genuine Peugeot 19" RCZ alloy wheels, as the photgraphs show they are in very tidy condition. Free collection of course, (East Yorkshire) but delivery at nominal cost subject to distance.
Sorry, should have updated this thread. I managed to get hold of a set of 18" multi spokes, which I have had powder coated and new tyres on.
These are now on the car. So I will be putting my 19" Sortilege wheels up for sale soon.
Shame really, in my opinion the Sortilege wheel is far nicer to...
Actually you are nearer to the answer than I thought I was, I found that the drivers seat doesn`t have an occupancy switch, so there is no `notification` that the drivers seat is occupied, just the light goes out as the seat belt is engaged.
Thank you for your assist.
Found the answer, the driver’s seat occupancy switch in the cushion is permanently in circuit, so it needs a new one. That’s the easy bit, just got to order it and fit it!
Another question for the experts and experienced, can the auto function sensitivity on the windscreen wipers be adjusted? (by Planet etc?) My wipers on the current setting only seem to kick in after the great flood has appeared over the glass!
Ok.....ignition on.....seat belt lights on overhead display come on, except for bottom left which corresponds to front passenger seat, press or sit on same seat and light comes on. Engage seat belt on that seat and light then goes out.
I`m not sure I`m explaining this very well but should all...
I always think that it is so important to let the people on the forum know if a problem has been rectified and how.
Not only share the knowledge with a question but share the answer too.
Another problem nailed!! This one turned out to be a faulty connection at the pedestrian impact ribbon behind the front bumper. Fault sign on ignition on gone.
There seem to be countless clones of Diagbox about on that well known auction site, shipped from China or from the UK. The question is are they any good? Has anyone on here any personal experience of usng one? :eusa-think:
I have changed and tested the airbag de-activation switch but am still getting the airbag/pre tensioner warning on occassion, pressing the check button to the side of the speedo also brings up the warning. What I am now looking at is the seat belt warning light cluster (overhead) the front...
It was on the car for the first day or so, and yes the additional torque was to say the least instant and impressive! But my style of driving says that 163 bhp is enough. I`m really enjoying the car `as is` :)
I have a used Bluespark CRTECH2 multi map tuning box for sale, it came with our newly aquired RCZ 2.0. Hdi, from the information on the Bluespark website says it ups the power to 187 bhp and by adjusting the little plug inside there are variations on that power output.
New they cost just short...
Not sure this is in the right section but here goes.
I am thinking that I would prefer 18" wheels on our RCZ, at the moment it has the factory 19" on which I am finding the ride a little hard, knowing from previous experience on a MG ZT what a difference an increase in tyre profile size can...
The battery that was originally on the car did the same thing, I swapped for a two year old Bosch battery on our other car on which I did a trickle charge, allowed the surface charge to settle, then did a voltage test with two different multimeters which were showing just slightly over 12...
