Yes its a known problem. No they dont check during a service. chain rattle from engine bay on a cold start will most likely be a indication of a replecement needed. 156hk engines are more present with this issue then the 200hk. on Diesels this isnt a issue as they have belts instead of chain.

Ok so I found out what the noise was coming from. There is a screw (10mm) that is loose making the seat feel unstable when cornering etc. Problem is that where it attaches to the seat the nut is factory welded to the seat and i noticed that the thread is damaged so there aint no way to fix it...

Evening fellas. my drivers seat seems little loose. I can actually move is few millimeters up and down if I grab the seath cushion. As far as I can see the bolts holding the seat to the floor are all good and tightened and the backrest is fine. Has anyone else had this and how did you fix it?

Have you tried using the spare key?

If you are upgrading for the use of navi i'd stick with current unit and buy a seperate gps. There is no factory fitted gps that gets near a seperate garmin/navigon/tomtom or similar. an aftermarket unit with better amp and music/movie capabilites will be more valuable in the end then replacing...

Don't know how the laws are in UK, Here in Sweden it doesn't matter if it's done at peugeot or indipendent dealer. As long as you are using genuine parts it doesn't matter. Best of luck :thumbup:
