Every time I’ve phoned them directly I have been put through to the Vauxhall’s desk, despite asking for Peugeot service.
You cannot get them to put you through to the Peugeot desk, it’s like they resent Peugeot being there now as it’s always been a Vauxhall dealership. The problems have got much...
Update.
Took my OH to work this morning, all lights working :eusa-think:
The only thing was that the previously dodgy rear near side light cluster seemed to have the brake light on instead of the normal rear light, so I took the bulb out rotated it and replaced it so the terminals...
Has anyone ever had their rear light cluster fail? I don’t think I’ve read it on the forum, so just thought I’d ask.
My car passed its mot on Wednesday so all must have been working then. Same day I noticed no brake light on near side. I put in a new bulb, then later my OH went out after dark &...
From what I’ve read from owners, anyone who has had a remap is more than happy with the results, whereas people who have gone down the chip route seem to be ultimately disappointed.
I’ve not had either done, but would love both a quad exhaust and a remap.
They offered to do the work the same day, but they said they only had 3rd party parts in stock
A Peugeot Main Dealer, who only has 3rd party parts in stock, go figure :(
They quoted me £105 per hour labour, but because of the emc I get it for £85.
I also booked my car in for a “while you wait” service, but, as happened exactly the same last year, when I got there, they had no record of my booking, and as last year, blamed the call centre. As they only had 2...
So, on Wednesday my Z went into the main stealers for this years service (extended maintenance contract) and MOT.
Passed its MOT but was told front pads down to 2mm, water in brake fluid (last changed nearly 3 years ago) and cracks in auxiliary belt.
It’s booked in next week for all the bits...
As far as I am aware, The water pump does not need replacing as part of a service interval. It should only be replaced if it is failing (maybe leaking or bearing noise or engine overheating that cannot be attributed to any other reason) or of course if it has failed.
I have never heard of a...
If your water pump has failed you will get more than a warning light. Your car will overheat very quickly and if you keep the engine running it will seize probably destroying itself.
You would also get a some sort of EML warning too, as several sensors would be triggered by the consequences of...
As far as I know, it’s a lifetime part, but, so is the centre brake light, which also fails on a far too regular basis.
These things can of course fail at any time. Any mechanical part no matter how well made is unlikely to last forever, just watch F1 on Sunday.
