Looking at the sort of usage you intend to use your car for, you would be better choosing a petrol engine.
Although the diesel is generally more reliable than the petrol, they don’t like short journeys without having a good “blast” fairly often.
One of the few issues with diesels that comes up...
As Richard said, it’s the side light bulb, but as the phase II RCZ’s have LED DRL’s which dim for sight light usage, the actual side light bulb is not connected.
Codes indicating a misfire on cylinder 4 are also known to indicate a failing High Pressure Fuel Pump.
I am no mechanic, so I don’t know how that would link to a lack of pressure in that cylinder, but I do know members on here that have tried various solutions having had this code, replacing...
As for the photos, they need to be reduced in size to 256kb or below. Some users have tapatalk which apparently also does the job, but I can’t get it working for me.
Looks awesome mate!!
Fake or full quads to finish it off? (Says he who would give his right arm for some but the OH says a definite NO).
Any way, looks great as it is Richard.
Tbh I drive like I stole it & although I regularly drop to below 20 mpg on some runs, my average is @ 32 ish.
Usual reported miles on a full tank @ 365, but I think I get more.
I have also used Shell V Power from the first ever fill. I also put half a bottle of RedX in every full tank.
Sad news you are leaving, what will your new ride be?
Out of interest, I have been checking online what kind of price mine would get against some not so cheap motors. Mine has been coming back at not much more than yours.
It’s going nowhere !!!
Your spoiler will be working.
When you activate the spoiler manually using the button, it raises to its highest level (normally over 98 mph for automatic activation). At this height it can be seen through the rear view mirror from the drivers seat.
When it activates at 55mph automatically, it...
It’s a joke with the £75 diagnostic. It’s just a way of getting an extra £75 out of you.
When I first bought my Z and started with my local main dealer the “diagnostic” fee was £50. But the main thing was, if you went ahead and had the work done by the dealer, they knocked the £50 off the cost...
The reason is as it says, there are literally thousands of entries with those results, so as it would be a waste of time showing every post with those words in it, it asks you to be a bit more specific.
For example .....If you wanted “diesel Dpf problems” try typing that :eusa-think:
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
Wow !
I think there might be quite a few questions for you following your first post.
Not least of which is, can we have a photo of under your bonnet please
I had a Renault Megan CC, apparently, they took the front wheel off to change the bulb on that as the access point was through the inner wheel arch
One that I can definitely recommend is the Peugeot Platinum extended warranty. But I think your car might only be eligible if it has been covered since the factory warranty ran out.
You could enquire at your local main dealers, as I’m sure they won’t want to turn your money down :eusa-think:
