My son once sold his Audi A3 which had always pulled left after an accident. When he was selling it, he did exactly that, @ 3 psi up front left and @ 3 psi down front right. I drove it, and it almost completely cured the pull. Tbh the braking was better too, as it had pulled left even more under...
I agree, as I said it’s not ideal and not a permanent solution I would want, but if owners checked their tyre pressures, I bet most would find the odd 1 or 2 tyres down a few psi, I check mine regularly and sometimes mine are down.
If the op sticks to just a couple of psi up left and down...
So, a solution to your problem which is of course highly dubious, and probably not to be recommended, you could increase the pressure in the left front by a couple of psi and reduce the front right by a similar amount.
A few pounds up or down is not considered dangerous, and is likely to result...
I wouldn’t go down the race chip route. I have read too many issues on the forum.
I don’t know if it’s possible to do the ecu remap through the OBD port, I doubt it from what I have read. I would either risk the ecu removal, or wait until the warranty has expired.
You also mentioned a broken coil spring. Was that replaced? If not it might well have been missed on the re-test but could be the cause of your issues :eusa-think:
There will be an arrow curving round the tyre and it should say something like “direction of rotation”
That’s what I. Want in my first post when I said they may be directional. It’s important that the arrow points in the direction the tyre will rotate when travelling forwards. I don’t know hat...
Have you tried swapping the front wheels over?
You say this started when you had new tyres fitted to the front......
Unless your tyres are directional, they should probably have “outside” written on them somewhere.
Make sure that is actually on the outside on both, it wouldn’t be the first...
You can’t ask too many questions. If it seems like you have, then maybe the car isn’t the right one.
I drive mine hard, in my experience, the harder you drive a car, the better it runs, you just have to keep up with maintenance more. I have had less issues with my Z over the last 5 years (and...
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
It’s good that you haven’t fallen into the trap of buying the first one you saw, they are such a good looking car, it’s easy to want the first one, and every subsequent one you see, but it’s prudent to be cautious as there are one or two...
I suppose it makes it unique, but I know what you mean, I don’t think I’m a fan :eusa-think:
Easy enough to sort out though, in fact a bit of negotiating with the dealer should have that made right before collection.
