So all we need now, apart from a lot more RCZers is to have a plan of action. What time, where are we driving to etc etc

This is only my suggestion but here goes :

We meet at 12 noon at the pub
Meet and greet, chit chat etc
Lunch (booked for 12.30?)
After lunch Go for a drive on the Moors or Whitby (whatever the majority choose to do)

What do you think?

That's a real bummer! I was fortunate that when I started driving I never had any accidents. When I think back to those days I realise how God must have been on my side  Me and my brother used to have our own racing circuit (other motorists would have called it country lanes! "Had we met ourselves coming the other way, we certainly wouldn't be alive today" However we believed we was the best drivers on the road, after all we had just passed our driving tests!! and all the other motorists were simply incompetent

I do know however how these insurance companies sting you when they get the opportunity. My wife had a very minor altercation in my car a few years back, not only did it affect her insurance (as she was driving) but mine too, because it was my car and policy!! How can that be right? Should be one claim one culprit but those beggers want it every way.

All I can do is to wish you well and hope that you can have your dream car again in a few years time, when you still have youth on your side and a better insurance profile. Goodluck

Thanks :)

Really upset in having to say bye to it. Just not a viable option to pay 3.5 grand. Bank the cash save up again and get a RCZ back in Afew years

If I have my RCZ by the 22nd I'd be interested in joining the meet. My parents live in Scarborough so I could kill various birds with limited stones.

Excellent ksb :)

Actually, please can all forum members read this as an invite open to everyone, not just those people from Yorkshire.

The more people we have the better. We can make this into a full RCZ meet :)

A great day out is planned. Meet at the Fox and Rabbit, Lockton on the edge of the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors
http://www.foxandrabbit.co.uk/about-our-location/

Enjoy a lovely lunch and chat with fellow RCZ enthusiasts. Then take in the beautiful sights of the Moors and Heartbeat country, with a wonderful drive on one of the best driving roads in the country, to the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Steeped in history, Whitby has much to offer everyone - the fabulous abbey, the wonderful pier and the heart attack inducing 99 steps, to name but a few ;)

Come on, don't be shy, come and join us. Add your name to the list including anyone you may be bringing with you (for table booking numbers).

Love to see you all :)
