I'll be finishing work at 4, they will be getting a call alright, it's went from last sat too tue then today.
Maybe they think since I have the demo I'll be in no hurry, well there in for a shock :eusa-whistle:

Yeah they were tardy with my handover too and my estimated date seemed to keep changing. In the end, I just kept on at them until they, in all likelihood, just wanted to get rid of me!! Fingers crossed that you get it today or tomorrow!!

That is nonsense..disappointingly sound like they are up to their old tricks. A phone call to their GM (Allan Mackenzie) might not go amiss.

Just had call from manager. Car not even in Scotland!!!
This is becoming a right nightmare. I'm so ready for a rant and rave but I'll get banned off here so I'll refrain. Looking at NEXT Friday for delivery now. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Wtf?! You can rant to me in a PM if you wish. I have had more than my own fair share of troubles with this dealer so empathise fully! What's the delay?! They should have come forth with this information far sooner! It niggles with me that they are not forthcoming and it takes you, the customer, to do all the chasing. I think a carefully worded letter of complaint to the GM would not go amiss and I have the name and number of a customer care manager in the Coventry based central Peugeot offices who I think would be VERY interested to learn of your dealings. Since my own litany of woes, they are supposed to be being very carefully monitored by Peugeot! I'd be spitting if I was you...time to throw on a LOT of miles on the demonstrator then!!

Promising me some sort of compensation for the delay and bad customer care, I will find out how far they are willing to go before i take it any further and I usure you I will take it further if not happy..
That's the point that's getting up my back the most, it's me that's done all the calling and all the running about to find out what the hell is going on. I must say all this isn't filling me with confidence about my future ownership :(

Others, such as Donna, have had excellent customer service and have no quibbles so hopefully you will find the same. The Peugeot member on here is excellent too and well worth a shout if you have any problems. Try to stay positive Starky...as hard as that may seem in your current predicament.

Matt's right. I've had good service from them *touch wood*, my car even arrived early! Caught me in a right tizz! I'm not being smug though. I think you're pure unlucky. I do think it's pretty scandalous they didn't inform you it hadn't arrived. I sometimes wonder if there's just nae enough indians and too many chiefs about the place. What's the point of the constantly expanding showroom/franchise/salesmen when they can't follow it through with customer services and technical staff? I feel bad getting narky with the poor bugger that answers the phone too, it's not usually their fault.

Time to use the demostrator as a van this weekend - trips to the skip etc?? There is a post somewhere about taking photos of how much you can cram in the boot .......

Can we possibly put a little perspective into this litany of woes? Starky, you are driving around in an Asphalt for FREE. Now I have been rather vocal about my views of car dealerships, however on this occasion, I don't understand the frenzy that is being stirred up.
I totally agree that communication is appalling and that they should have spoken to you a week ago when your car failed to arrive, lets face it, they knew days ago that it was not going to PDI'd and ready for today's handover, so why have they not been in touch apologising?
But I come back to my original point, that to have a free Asphalt to use it's not a bad situation to be in and it could be a damn site worse.

I fully understand where your coming from and I don't wish to stir up a frenzy in any way, I may have a free asphalt as you say BUT I have parted not only with a lot of money and my Audi A5 on the promise of my very own new ashpalt, I am a very patient person as a hole but I find the way that all this has been going so far is beyond belief and pushing that to the limit.
It's not even the fact that I dont have my car yet but the way that I have been treated, forget that the 3rd date of promised delivery has passed but I've had to call them on every occasion to be told that It's not ready. I took a half day from work today to pick car up, after FOUR calls to the dealer then a call back from manger to be told they don't even have the car I'm finding it very hard at the moment to keep calm.

I agree with you Starky, the onus is on them contacting you to keep you up to date with the delivery process, not the other way around after all that is what customer service and hence customer satisfaction is all about. Irrespective of whether you have an Asphalt demo car for free, the point is you have traded in a good car, ie the A5, and Peugeot should have been somewhat eager to take a former Audi owner under their wings and make the buying process as easy as possible for you. I could be wrong but I thought that the Asphalt went out of production late last year and so I would think your car is within the dealer network already, so like you I don't understand the delay. If I had booked a week's holiday to go on tour so to speak with my new pride and joy I would be gutted. I hope they are going to make it up to you as this is unacceptable. I admire your patience and the wait will be certainly worth it, but come on Peugeot you need to up your game here !

I assure you when you spot my very own one when I do eventually get it,
It won't be doing any skips runs and will look as new and clean as yours did ;)

Starky, why don't you use Tapatalk on your iPad?. It's dead simple uploading pictures with it :)
