I'm going to continue flashing lights until I get a response...however, I may be prepared with a follow up gesture for those that don't take me on! Aberdeen RCZ drivers...you have been warned!!

 Will catch up soon mrizzle, I might only have a demo just now but I'll have my own Friday. Having great fun with the one now thou. It's much better than I thought. How they get so much power from a wee 1.6 I do not know, my Audi was a 3.0 Quattro turbo and thought I'd miss the power but not so

Not long to go now Starky!! :) I was like a child on Christmas eve awaiting mine!! Glad you're enjoying the demo but you'll be even happier when you get your hands on your own!!

I know what you mean about the power. Driven properly/correctly there's plenty there to leave others red faced and, although, it's not rocket ship fast, there's plenty to enjoy when given a good boot. The car will also hang in on corners to a degree that others can't match...great for some country road driving when you can fully utilise some engine braking and stage 2 spoiler action...hehehe :)

Hmmmm I'll have to disagree on that one just a wee bit, coming from insch today into Aberdeen, give it a little boot, all legal and bellow 70 I may add
But must admit I noticed the Quattro grip wastnt there, just need to get used to two wheel drive again I suppose

Better take delivery on Friday. I'm really getting itchy. Have my K&N filter, tax disc holder, number plates and all my mega expensive swissvax products ready to go. Just need the car now

Amazeballs...!! I was much the same...had plenty of bits and bobs before the car even arrived. The tax disc holder is a nice touch of personalisation. Did you also go for the laser cut one? The other little touch I'd recommend is some dust caps. I got some black Peugeot logo ones to replace the big standard ones for my black onyx solstice alloys off Ebay and it's a nice little touch. They'd look great on your black alloys. Also they cost literally a couple of nuggets.

Hadn't had a chance to clean the car when this was taken and didn't come out particularly well but you get the idea...

Yea I have the lazer cut holder, will look the bizz I'm sure, stopped with the fancy dust covers thou, I tried them all on the Audi, even locking ones BUT kids, bloody kids, keep pinching them
My next move are the tail pipes. Not sure on getting bespoke made or getting the feline ones from rczperformance, gonna ask the nice people at the dealers how much to fit them before I decide, plus I want to have a gawp under your lovely machine to see how they look

Well you are welcome to as much gawping as you like Starky. I would say, that regardless of which exhaust system you choose, do NOT get it fitted by the dealer!!! They made a royal arse up of fitting mine and after 2 efforts at rectifying their hacksaw job of my rear valance, while improved, it's still not wonderful. The zunsports/feline kit came with a paper (yup...you read that right PAPER) template and they really made an arse up of the cut to the rear valance using it. I would strongly recommend that, whichever route you decide to go down, get it fitted by someone else, tuning specialist etc. I have worked up a contact at our dealer who has expressed willingness for me to share his work email address privately with Aberdeen RCZ owners. He is far and away the most professional and understanding of the people they have out there and he does go the extra mile to deliver high quality service...in my recent dealings. I had a litany of issues with our dealer from the salesmen, to the techs (refuse to call them mechanics...they simply aren't) to the general manager. I won't bore you with the details of this...it's listed in another thread but these were (eventually...after almost a dozen trips back and forth) rectified with pressure coming from myself and Peugeot centrally. I am pleased to hear, judging by your dealings, that my grievances and pressure combined with Peugeot's influence seem to have eventually had an effect on them and their level of customer service.

Interesting!!! You chould try and get him to join the forum, his wisdom would be well appreciated, being an 'insider'!!!

I defo think all us 'locals' would be grateful of the information anyway. I guess most of us (if not all) have niggling little queries that we don't want to garage about for fear of looking like a tit, especially me being a lassie (and I generally do know my stuff).

Good post Donna, be great to have a local insider to stop us looking like a tit( I'm not half bad at the job)
I'm new to the pug brand but like and demand anyone working on my car knows what there doing, I've had many a set too with Audi so much so I ended up going to Dundee for services ect ect. I'd like to avoid that with the pug.
Trying to sort out best way and persons to trust and fit quad tail pipes without butchering the valance and cocking up the job. Mind you, need to take delivery off car first, be a good start ;)

Your valve caps look the dogs mrizzle, I do like little touches like that, but as I said, little bas***** keep pinching them, so reverted back to the plain black, keeps them away from car altogether ;)

There are some very nice lockable ones on the market, I used to lose them in twos, obviously kids for their bikes.

Tried the locking ones on my Audi but still they managed to get them off, defo kids for there bikes, I just stopped putting them on as they don't give them an excuse to be round about car causing even more damage. Even caught them once but still didn't stop. Think I've lost about 5 sets now

It's a frustrating wait!! I chased them up and put the pressure on them to have it ready for the Friday rather than the scheduled Saturday. May well be worth your time chasing them up because there is nothing that they can do tomorrow that they can't do or should have been done today!!
