So its a 3 horse race. :helpme: :helpme: :helpme:
1.Rcz 156gt sat nav,with them new polished alloys,vision pack,lama coloured interior.£363/36 months
2.A3 sportsback 2.0tdi S-Line in pearl white, interior mood lights .£363/36 but fully maintained/servicing/tyres.
3.A3 sportsback 1.8tfsi S-Line S-tronic in black £404/36 months but again fully maintained including tyres.
All 3 cars have a lead time of between 3/4 months which will tie in with my old rcz going back so i have to make up my mind pretty soon
This is a tough one Maverick!! I would live to see you in the new RCZ with all the toys that you have desired (the lama leather is a classy touch :thumbup). However, I suppose you have to ask yourself if the toys and spec are enough for you to put up with the 156 engine for another three years...after all it has been your biggest bugbear with the car. However, it'll turn far more heads than the A3 will.
As for the A3 selection, personally, I'd not be tempted by the oil burner. It's got plenty of torque but neither of them are actually that quick. The 1.8 certainly certainly has more guts and straight line speed. Have you read about the new type R civic? Honda have stated that they are going to make sure that it's quicker round the Nuremburg ring than the previous one which still holds the fastest time for a front wheel drive car. They've also said they expect it to have in the region of 350BHP at its disposal....nice!!! Shame that it's still some way away from arriving and I actually think the previous model is better looking.
Anyway, those are my thoughts for what they're worth...
