    Newbie

I rarely use all the gears, especially when shifting down. 6th to 4th is a common change, as is 4th to 2nd. Going up, depending on how hard I’ve pushed it in 3rd, I do sometimes go straight to 6th. My least used gear is 5th, as the car easily handles 4th to 6th if you are not pushing it.

    My new 200 GT

I did use tapatalk but after the change I can no longer use it either. All the Pug forums you could want, except this one.

    Curate's egg

Does anyone know about battery life on current EV’s. (Pardon the pun) I read an article about an early EV - might have been the Leaf, can’t remember, but it said that the batteries were given an expected lifetime of @ 5 years with a replacement cost of @ £10 k  After reading...

    Knocking noise

It’s an RCZ thing. The noise is the tyre skipping. It’s something to do with the position of the wheels on full lock. Certain tyres and certain conditions make the noise worse, usually when it’s cold and possibly wet. The tyres are colder and harder, and the surface slippery.

    Help/Advice

I do know that at least one member has replaced his single din oem unit for a double din touch screen, and with the addition of some sort of wiring connector, he managed to get all functions working. You might just have to do a bit of digging to find his post, but I know it can be done.

    Rcz 156 v 200

Short (& obvious) answer is @ 44 bhp. :eusa-think: I have driven both & I did find a noticeable difference in power, which is why I went on to buy a 200GT. It may be possible to stretch the 156 to near 270 bhp but you have to realise what other components are different on the R compared to a...

+125.000 miles with the RCZ R (my story)

Re: +100.000 miles with the RCZ R (my story) I don’t think that corrosion could get through the brake dust :eusa-think: :eusa-whistle:

High level brake light (New via Holland)

Out if interest, where did you find the left hand saws? I’ve been looking for one of them for ages :eusa-think: :eusa-whistle:

    Bonnet explosive pistons

Funnily enough, I’ve been to the annual Rhubarb festival in Wakefield today. But I have to confess, the only Rhubarb I consumed was Rhubarb Gin (& tonic).

    Multifunction display panel

If your management light is on, you should be able to get a code(s) using an obd2 reader. This might relate to the issue with the display not working but still showing orange when the car is off. Obd2 readers can be obtained from many sources on the internet, and range from just a few pounds...

    Sundry questions!

Glad to hear your on the mend  When I first replaced my contis on the front of my Z, I chose the uniroyals, the ride was good, similar road noise to the contis, maybe slightly quieter, the grip was great, but, with my style of driving, the wear was poor. They didn’t last very long at...
