I rarely use all the gears, especially when shifting down. 6th to 4th is a common change, as is 4th to 2nd.
Going up, depending on how hard I’ve pushed it in 3rd, I do sometimes go straight to 6th.
My least used gear is 5th, as the car easily handles 4th to 6th if you are not pushing it.
Does anyone know about battery life on current EV’s. (Pardon the pun)
I read an article about an early EV - might have been the Leaf, can’t remember, but it said that the batteries were given an expected lifetime of @ 5 years with a replacement cost of @ £10 k

Funnily enough, I’ve been to the annual Rhubarb festival in Wakefield today. But I have to confess, the only Rhubarb I consumed was Rhubarb Gin (& tonic).
If your management light is on, you should be able to get a code(s) using an obd2 reader. This might relate to the issue with the display not working but still showing orange when the car is off.
Obd2 readers can be obtained from many sources on the internet, and range from just a few pounds...
Glad to hear your on the mend
When I first replaced my contis on the front of my Z, I chose the uniroyals, the ride was good, similar road noise to the contis, maybe slightly quieter, the grip was great, but, with my style of driving, the wear was poor. They didn’t last very long at...
