These are for the 156 bhp manual but I don't think these will be different to the automatic version, but if yours is automatic I can put those pictures up as well.
Looks like the head gasket has gone between the water jacket channels and cylinders.
The only other way of getting water in to the cylinders is if a sleeve has cracked and depending where the cracks is depends if it stays in the cylinders or goes into the sump.

But because it is not a Peugeot warranty you just have to get the claim approved and tell them which garage you are using (I think as long as they are VAT registered)..
Hopefully the garage won't mind dealing with the warranty company.
Boroboy you can still have the extended warranty just get the garage to use genuine peugeot parts otherwise it will be easier for them not to stand the warranty claim, and it's not a Peugeot warranty, although the offered by them.
Don't know and hopefully not going to try but at least if I get a puncture they can come out and sort it without me having to give them £120 (each time) just for coming out to a punctured tyre.
