    Bluetooth on Engine Switch Off

...I'm still living in the past. I have someone walking in front with a red flag whenever I go out.

    Bluetooth on Engine Switch Off

I'm sure that on some old Peugeot's (eg. my old 406 Coupe) the fuse that protected the Radio had 2 positions, One of which allowed the Radio to remain on, F23 in this example. I've not had a proper look at the RCZ fuse box - Might be worth a look.

Best double din unit for 2014 rcz

I fitted a Kenwood DDX4016DAB to mine. Needed quite a few extras. New dashboard insert (this had resized buttons/controls above the existing radio). Stalk control adaptor, DAB aerial (screen mounted) , a buzzer replacement device to allow the parking sensors to work. I also fitted a reversing...

Automatic fault codes P0965 and P0966

It might be worth checking the oil level in the auto gearbox. I'm no expert but I think oil issues in auto boxes causes no end of problems if not correct.

    Coronavirus

My Cousins friend's second wife's Gynecologist said its ok to drive at 90mph on public roads because everyone is staying at home with Coronavirus. It says so on Twitter so it must be true.

    Newbie question regarding sub install

Be careful about "piggy-backing" . I would image your Sub will draw a lot of power - and at 12V that means a high current (200W at 12V is over 15 amps). That sort of current will cause a thin wire to heat up. Try and wire it back to the battery, or better still - get the installer to put a wire...

    Missing relay

Its not unusual to find an "empty" plug or socket - The wiring loom is standard throughout the range, including the wiring for features that are not present in your version of the RCZ. The "non-starting" comment needs a bit more details, does the engine turn over but not fire - Is the battery...

    Driver Side Window Broke

"horrible crunching noise " Sounds like the teeth have been stripped. Take off the door card and have a good look. Ebay may be a good supplier - I'm sure many Peugeot models use the same window winder components

    Workshop manual and it's authenticity

Emanualonline supplied mine, It was 13.4Gb (very big) - but was complete, Including Parts, Repair and was about £10 - its more than that now. It was supplied with instructions for loading - as I think it will only run on Windows Xp, so a Vmware installion is required on later os versions...

    My Daughters Seat Ibiza:

Glad nobody was seriously hurt. I wonder if a dashcam in the offending car could be confiscated by the Police - and used if it were proved to be dangerous driving.

Removing A pillar trim (dashcam install)

Its also worth remembering that a thin lead from the dashcam can be tucked behind the trim, use a wood stirrer (available at any high street Coffee shop). Saves breaking the small tabs that hold everything in place.

    Economy Mode

Thanks for the replies. Going to try an experiment, see what the current drain is whilst not running - a process of elimination. Also carrying a set of Jump leads at all times. Its a Peugeot after all !

    Economy Mode

Looking for some information. Sometimes when entering the car - the "Economy Mode Active" message appears in the display when turning on the ignition. Other times it does not. I have a dash cam fitted - but that is powered from the cigarette lighter and I know it turns off a few seconds after...

Peugeot RCZ front brake wear indicator

I'm not 100% sure that wear indicators are fixed to the front pads....GSF online parts say "Wear Warning Contact not prepared for wear indicator" The warning light also covers brake fluid level - and if your pads were worn that could well light up (as the fluid level would have dropped to...

    What do you think ?

Seems a bit on the expensive side, the only genuine Peugeot part will be the belt. None of the fitting will be difficult or require Peugeot tools - even your local Halfords / Quikfit / Garage can do this without any difficulty.

    Driver seat movement

The fixing bolts are easy to get to - Its a slow process with the electric seats - but should only take a few mins.

    Austrian Grand Prix

I think I may be about the same age, Loved F1 when they actually raced - with the likes of Ayrton Senna, James Hunt, Niki Lauda. Great racing and great personalities. I'll get my coat !
