A young man at Halfords did a battery change for me. I thought he was going to need a hammer and chisel to remove the plastic cover from the battery. Took 2 blokes 15 minutes to finally do it. I'm with Cuore Sportive - Watch footy and let someone else do the hard work.

Put a sheet of cardboard under the engine overnight - check for a slow leak. Then get a pressure test done at a local garage - should cost only a few pounds - and have a close look inside the oil filler cap - look for the dreaded sludge. Hopefully its a simple issue like a damaged hose.

A trick that works on many systems is to lower the volume when in use, the radio, CD player etc should remain unaffected. Give it a try.

Welcome to another Taffy (although I don't think the name travels that far north) Lovely part of the world you occupy - after driving my RCZ through the Llanberis path I cant wait to get back up there.

I'm no expert but here's my tuppence worth: Only happens when warm/hot - maybe the Gearbox oil level is too low or the wrong type. A change of oil should not cost too much so maybe give it a try first. As for a "notchy" gear change - Mine is the same, Peugeot said it was normal for a "sporty"...

Only caught a glimpse - but an RCZ with logo's on it at Dartmouth near the lower ferry - and a spoiler. It looked magnificent. I'm sure I saw it on the coast road to Slapton a few days before.

Can anyone recommend a well fitting heatshield to place inside the windscreen. Its like an oven in this lovely weather. Many thanks in anticipation. :helpme:

That would happen if you were using oversized tyres - but It looks like 235/40/19 in the picture. Check and make sure there are no spacers fitted on the front wheel - especially if fitted one side only.

Be careful if you try to remove the rear view mirror. Its a pain to get it back in place correctly. To fit my Dashcam, just to the left of the console - I tucked the wire under the roof lining down behind the A pillar cover, behind the glovebox and into the radio.

I am running 235/40/19 - I wanted to fit 245/40/19 - very little circumference difference. Rears were ok - but the front larger tyres interfered with the wheel arch. Especially on full lock. Useful calculator here...

I wonder if the wires leading to the sensor are shorting out. Have a look inside the electrical connector (the bit that plugs on to the sensor) see if there is an obvious "bridge" between the pins.

Try disconnecting the sensor wires and then start the engine (briefly). If the fan does not start straight away then its possible that the sensor if faulty. Or try refitting the old sensor and see if the problem persists.

I have looked at the official Peugeot docs, removing the front bumper seems quite straightforward. So is removing and replacing the parking sensors. 1.2 hours is the official labour time. Sorry but I can't comment on the wiring/ecu/bsi issues, but if you have the time you could give it a try...

...or maybe someone had the wall cavity's insulated (with the foam) and its found its way through the holes in the back of the Consumer unit. Its a Fire hazard, very dangerous and should be fixed asap. :cry:

Looks like a Water Inlet hose, Price from Peugeot is £52.26. I cant tell from Service Box if that includes the wire cover - but a decent Motor factor should be able to supply something similar. Have a look here...

Afternoon all. Just collected my RCZ. 2014 156 GT. Lovely. I am a long term Peugeot owner having owned a 406 Coupe for over 10 years. Must get on with sorting the ICE, as the installed unit and speakers are not up to the job.
