Absolutely. I learned that the hard way with one of my 407s. The dealer wazzed them up so tight I couldn't undo them.
After complaining politely it cost them a low loader to my house from Nottingham, a courtesy car and a new set of bolts.
After that any subsequent Peugeot had them removed and...
I think a stock 19" will fit in the boot space with the tyre deflated.
I've not had a spare for years. Just the goop, luckily I've never had a flat tyre in over 20 years.
Yep it's definitely a shame, and the whole reason I punted mine. Though to be fair, on a good day and with the Gods watching a 200 GT RCZ is good fun.
Having said that my GT 86 isn't the most reliable thing ever, after 2 years of owning it - it needs a new headlight bulb..
Unbelievable.
Have you had the door card off to see what's occurring? It's an easy enough job.
I replaced a mechanism on one of my 407s, and that was not an easy job.
I don't think NG4 has bluetooth music streaming, although it's over two years since I had mine.
You can probably get a whatsit that'll do it, but I just used a USB drive.
It's not really worth the hassle of setting up. I had it in my 407, 508 and RCZ, and barring pressing the button and asking it stupid things once or twice, never used it.
Exhibit A
All three of mine worked off the bat, no setting up.
Mine were factory black. I left them like it.
I've done the calipers and disc bells on my GT86 black too, because I had some black stove paint laying around..
I can't remember where mine came from off the top of my head as I've had it literally years.
You will need an interface too to go between the car and the laptop.
Usually you can get these as a bundle.
Then hopefully it's a sensor/wiring fault. It could be a faulty cam sensor.
No idea how to change those though.
Did you get it checked at a Peugeot dealer? As much as it's a pain in the backside to, they do have the correct diagnostic equipment.
Which is actually available on the internet, if...
Well if P0016 is correct, and its not fibbing to you. Like they can with a poor/old battery.
I think your issue is engine timing. As I recall mine had this code, something like crank correlation or something. It needed the whole timing gear changing.
Though mine was rattling from cold.
So...
P0016 is a timing fault code. Which given you have a THP is a whole world of its own.
P2236 is I think something to do with a Lambda sensor?
Have they clobbered stuff and damaged it? Wiring, actual sensors.
Also, what solenoid valve lost its memory?
The NG4 in my RCZ went through a period of rebooting itself, then shutting off completely.
Typically when I was using the Nav.
It ended in it completely kicking the bucket. Upon opening the unit up, I found some lovely charred wires.
The replacement I got was from a 5008, and just swapped the...
