How much prep do you do before applying this dude?
Time is precious for me, and while I too don't want to spend all my time washing, happy to invest a little time upfront and coat my beast, and like you save the level of washing afterwards.
Never done any detailing on previous cars and don't...
Well I cheated/kopped-out.
Spent 40 quid on some Silknet Plus Snow Socks for the 19"s on my R.
With all the shenanigans with Peugeot Customer Car over my failed jacking points I am not going anywhere near getting my baby lifted to have new tyres fitted - well not until I have to that is.
Can't you get anything via the diag ports on these cars?
Mine is under warranty so I don't need to delve about, but with the last car, which was well past its sell by date, one of those cheap'n'cheerful ebay bluetooth OBDII ports diagnosed a engine misfire - which just led to regapping the...
The thing is nobody knows what the impact would be.
The RCZ is based of the 308, a much heavier, yet torsionally stiffer car than the relatively ancient standard spec 205. So the subframe as Figo says is going to be stiffer anyway.
Why risk it on something that is not that easy to undo.
I'd make...
Yep, that's what I figured mate.
Its a bit naughty of them to charge 800 Swiss Francs for what are in effect standard seats (with red stitching) - even if they do have the heating elements.
Those 'R' seats are great aren't they. I say I like the option of maybe choosing heated seats, but in...
Dang - but heated seats a great option for the R.
Looking on the Swiss site it looks like they give you the option of the standard (and excellent btw) RCZ seats or what looks like the red trimmed seats from the 'Carbon' range (an 800CHF option, eek).
I love my R seats, but, it the weather...
Welcome - and you've come to the right place.............Or rather, it depends on whether the issue is with the car or your girlfriend, as we don't offer relationship counselling here.....I think
I'd agree with this. Its one thing changing easily bolt on items like shocks, AR bars etc, its something else making perm changes to something like a subframe.
Don't know if the R has beefed up AR bar? Maybe that is an option if you can get hold of one.
Having said that the R has diff...
renegade79, this is an outrageous statement!
Its totally disparaging to cheese and the cheese industry in general.
So for all our sakes, please withdraw this statement before the lawyers get involved.
Its a sorry tale.
The photo links don't work in the post but the dialogue tells you all.
My issue is pretty much the same as the first photo posts in that long thread.
When you pick the car up be sure to check the jacking points...
What's why?
The fact they don't make many? It was a conscious decision by Peugeot to limit the yearly run of 'R'
Overpriced compared with what?
While I have issues with aftersales its still a hell of a car and is worth more than the depreciation seen in that ad.
It's almost like you are trying...
That's correct mate, and if you look at the howmanyleft site there are only 138 registered in the UK
https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/
If this guy gets that for sub £20k, with the options on that car its about a £13k saving on list, on a low mileage, dealer sold, 6 month old 'R'. That's about 40%...
The advert looks okay, and it's from a pucka dealer, or that's how it looks.
It's just that it's 3 or 4 grand under what everyone else is asking. Think I'd be doing some serious checks before pickup.
