Mines done 32k and I've already thought about it. My first RCZ a 2011 plate had coking issues at 25k miles and was only about 18 months old at the time.
Dealer fixed it under warranty but if I remember correctly the bill would have been over 1k to put right.
I had the timing chain, tensioners, guides, etc, on mine replaced last month and it was nearer £700
You might just get the tensioner done for £200-300
Warranty sounds a bit pointless, warranty company picked up the full bill on mine.
So having worked from home in my new role for the last few weeks I needed to go to the office this week, about 240 miles each way.
Car never missed a beat there or back and past hundreds of mundane hatchbacks and saloons on the trip making me appreciate the RCZ even more than normal.
Real shame...

What you might want to consider is that 0-60 isn't the half of it. My previous car was a 510 BHP XKR and in a straight line there wasn't much that would keep up with it but the RCZ is a different car entirely. The fun of these cars is going round corners without having to use the brake...
Welcome to the forum
As you've already discovered these cars are prone to mechanical problems at fairly low mileage. In my view a consequence of the daft 20k service intervals
Peugeot dropped the ball in thinking long service intervals would attract buyers
Having said that there is nothing on...
FsH is key and preferably at better than the peugeot service intervals.
I've had 3 petrol versions but the smart money reckons the diesel is a better bet reliability wise . The 2.0 litre hdi engine is a pretty good unit.
These cars are seriously under valued at the moment so you'll get a lot...
I've got the lowest spec THP156 engine and its not as quick as it looks but who cares when you don't need to slow down for corners . Handling on these cars is great. If you want super quick you'll need the RCZ R which has got 270 bhp which is more than enough on something that weights as much as...
totally agree
Cars these days are way too complicated and there are too many things to go wrong
The only people who benefit are the manufacturers and dealers not the customers
The garage who changed my timing chain did the whole kit including the plastic guides which can fail and told me it was an 8/9 hour job , just the tensioners replacement would have been 2/3 hours.
The first 2 RCZs I owned had the same wheels as yours and I always thought they looked a bit lame compared with the rest of the cars styling but painted in the colour yours are they look great .
2015 model with 30k miles,
Mechanical breakdown warranty I had from the dealer covered it .
Common fault on the 1.6 petrol engines, if the tensioners only need doing its a lot cheaper ,
