For me that is why it’s worth that extra effort, incredible RCZ-R.
That to me also demonstrates the quality of the seats.
Were you also on the original mats? Looks like it!
I just can’t figure that out, like you say it would definitely been a low price for the trade in, but I am still confused why a garage would sell so cheaply, given the condition and mileage of the car?
Or maybe the value of our cars are simply a lot lower now?
The R is special, I think the problem is finding a good one, they do need servicing properly and a lot of parts moving forward will be hard to source, hence people will cut corners.
I think in comparison with the TT it would have to be the R/S to pry me away from an R, the base models or MK2...
Buy the R and give up fishing? Joking aside yes I can see the issue with the tow bar, think it may be due to the rear valance.
I cant see that R hanging around for long personally, so you need to be quick.
The barcode was still on my spare key, I would love to see this car in the flesh, it looks factory fresh, I just wish there were more pictures, you really need to see the engine bay and a close up of brakes.
I just think its too cheap, am curious why?
Look’s really good for the money, bargain in my opinion.
Says in the add only one key, wonder why.
It looks as in new condition, incredible value, the previous owner must have let it go for little money.
The HDi engine is bullet proof as long as it’s maintained, for me amongst the best of all time, yours seems to have had all the correct maintenance done.
Upgrades not sure why with the HDI engine you feel the need for upgrades, in my opinion not worth it, plenty of punch as standard, yes there...
All of my motoring life, having had cars with sports seats I have always taken care when stepping into the car to avoid damage or wear to the bolster, I have also been a little ocd with the sills and where the key is in my hand when opening the drivers door to avoid scratches to the bodywork...
I don’t have anything in there either, no idea what it is, I can only assume it’s an add on put in there by the owner, can’t think of anything else you may need in there.
Wheels from Peugeot parts direct, they had a sale on at the time of purchase.
I do wonder though how many R s have the belt undertray fitted or if it’s damaged.
One of my little jobs this year is to sort the pink deposit from the turbo insulation, going to try and claim for new cover on the...
The auxiliary belt under tray was missing, they do hang low so are easily caught, the R doesn’t have a full engine under tray.
I sort of knew something was missing but wasn’t overly concerned as the car had just been serviced and MOTd at Peugeot with no mention of the missing tray.
Also I had...
I thought I did know what I was looking for with mine, as we already had an RCZ GT HDI, but the R is a completely different proposition in my opinion, in retrospect I wasn’t thorough enough with my inspection, disappointing really as I am good with the spanner’s.
There was an R came up shortly...
Agree, perhaps it’s a big risk buying privately for some, I think you really need to know these cars to do that.
I was caught out slightly with mine, but there was no way I would have purchased it without the Peugeot warranty and the pile of receipts and history it came with.
I wouldn’t want to run anything other than the quartz ineo oil in mine, lots of good information in this thread, especially with the mention of shear and cst with regard to oils.
I read up on a lot of the above many years ago which led me to running Mobil oils in a lot of my cars, because the...
