Just to many mods agree Kerr, that is definitely a red flag with any R in my opinion, the R just can’t be improved with any mod, this is a car that has been developed by Peugeot sport, thus for me perfect.
All looks good to me as Kerr says, the rears are cheap as chips to replace, I use Mtec brakes for discs and pads, they don’t do the fronts though, they are only available through Peugeot.
The minimum thickness for the disc for the fronts is scribed on the disc for future reference.
Anything With a diamond cut wheel is going to suffer more than a standard alloy, think the fact you have to mount the kerb to park it’s probably inevitable damage will occur, I have never thought of the R as having skinny tyres, the design of the wheel is to give a wider track in my opinion.
I...
The market for all cars at the moment is absolutely dire, It makes me very sad how cheap RCZs are, including some Rs, but for those wishing to hang on for many years, prices will climb, people on forums were telling me years ago my Monaro would finish up a 5k car, try buying one now for that...
TBH Kerr in the early days not great, I use Peugeot Preston, they now know my car and me, they also know my expectations when I take my car in.
I set my stall out as per Flanners advice, walk round the car before service, pictures taken before underneath, (I know every inch and millimetre of my...
When you go to collect just have a good look round it, they give you plenty of time as you have bought of the internet, with my sons car they were spot on as they take pictures of all the marks, tbh we struggled with the naked eye to spot the imperfections, the car was everything they described...
Cazoo are very good, my son recently bought a car from them, you get a couple of weeks to try with a max of 200 miles, if not satisfied you just take it back.
No not the white one, its the black one, I think it will be hard to buy a good one in your price range which won’t need money spending on it, parts are ridiculously expensive for the R.
As someone who also owns a TT I would say put your budget there and buy, otherwise up your budget and wait...
Called in today, it’s definitely been a track car, slicks on the rear, big bore exhaust on the back etc.
Bodywork was good, wheels have been refurbished, nearside wheels down to virtually nothing with the R logo, seemed to sit very low, obviously far from factory in a big way.
For someone...
I think it’s obvious, as you say it’s probably glued on and will cause damage if removed.
Unless there is something bad under there, people really do have some strange ideas!
The stripe is bits of body kit stuck on, mirrors and spoiler have been painted.
The above for me is a personal thing and won’t be to everybody’s liking, it’s all money if you want to go back to the original spec, especially with the wheels as it’s difficult to tell the condition from the pictures.
