    Electrical gremlins

If the message was this 'Battery charge or Electrical supply faulty' then I and some others have had it too. Myself and another on here solved it by replacing the circuit board on the front of the battery protection module. It sits on top of the battery. See this thread.

New to Peugeot, not new to cars

I'm from Melbourne too. Are you looking for a manual? The auto has a heavily de-tuned engine. There aren't any in Victoria in manual at the moment. You might have to be patient. Definitely get a pre purchsae inspection done before buying one. Justin Fisher automotive would be a good place to...

Battery charge or Electric Supply Fault

Seems to me the forum members know more than the so called "experts"! I'm glad I didn't fork out hundreds of dollars to a mechanic trying to get it sorted with no guarantee of success! Please update when you have it sorted. It all adds to the knowledge base here.

Battery charge or Electric Supply Fault

As above by jellybasher. I fixed my intermittent fault by doing the same as them. Changed this part myself. It's on top of the battery. Disconnect battery, swap part, re-connect battery. a 13mm socket will do it. Take care removing the old one. 73.82£ |FOR Brand Genuine BPGA Battery Manager...

    Common electrical problem.

So far so good. A couple more drives of the car. Still no STOP light coming up or the battery charge or electrical supply faulty message. FYI I replaced the electronic module on the front of the module on top of the battery. Search 28236841 in Ali Express or google. Fingers crossed I've fixed...

    Renovating Black Arches.

You'll have to get rid of the Meguiars first. I have no idea how to do that....

    Renovating Black Arches.

When I did mine, I mixed in some super heavy duty boat cutting compound. That stuff is savage! Did you remove the coating you put on it first?

Yes if you are in Melbourne, Australia lol

    Renovating Black Arches.

I don't think covering is a good solution. Try removing a small section of oxidisation with heavy cut compound. Just to test if it can be removed. You will have to rub hard! Several times. I thought I might polish out the ripple finish but it had no effect on it. If you can get rid of the...

Rcz R Review: New Youtube video

I have to disagree on the whole turbo laggy thing. Again, my NA Clio is gultess below 4000 RPM. This is very common in NA cars (except large block V8's etc). Then it comes alive with a rush. I find the R has a very even torque curve in comparison.

    Should I buy the RCZ

Just make sure you get it inspected by an expert in these cars before buying.

Rcz R Review: New Youtube video

The handling of my R is amazing IMHO. The Clio I have is a great handling car as all reviewers will agree. The R is a lot better. By that I mean the Clio is sprung super stiff to get it to handle. The down side is a pretty harsh ride. The R has the cornering of the Clio but without the...

    Renovating Black Arches.

If the Meguiars coating comes off or stops working for some reason, try rubbing the faded part with a heavy cut compound. I restored mine doing that and they came up like new. So the idea is to remove the oxidised plastic rather than cover it up. Try it on a small area first to test. Then you...
