Rcz R Review: New Youtube video

I've seen a few reviews of his. He reviewed a Clio MK3 too which I also own. Frankly, he's full of shit. The nonsense that comes out of him... I don't think he knows a good car from a bad one. He's a good talker though....kind of like a used car salesman. I won't be looking at any of his videos...

What model is best, as investment

Another vote for the R version. Probably won't make a profit, but you won't lose much either and you get to enjoy a great car.

    Common electrical problem.

@TheWest The negative terminal is hidden isn't it? Did you undo the front terminal? (The positive, even though it's painted black...)

    Common electrical problem.

@TheWest Did you disconnect the positive battery terminal or just undo and do a straight swap?

    RCZ R prices

Congrats on the purchase. The seller was on here. I messaged him about it. New front discs! New tyres! He had a lot of interest. Might see you at one of the French car days that are organised occasionally.

    Fading Leather: How to fix

Take it to Dans Detailing in nunawading to see what he reckons. He told me how to remove the spots on my black roof arches. Good bloke.

I've got an alert set up in carsales too just so I can see when one comes up. In the last year there might have been one. They are defintely being hoarded now. One will come up but you will have to move fast. Here's the last one. At least a year ago.

Yes I'm talking about normal RCZ. 2013 onwards. I'd go for a later model. You can tell by the different nose design. I believe the chain tensioner was rectified on the later models. Maybe someone on here can confirm. This is a link to the later one...

    RCZ R prices

The last one sold for 30K AUD with 70,000 klm on it. A bit of a bargain I think. When I bought mine 3 years ago they were going for 34 to 43 K. A really good late model manual for 20 to 25K sounds about right.

    RCZ R prices

There were about 32 imported. When I bought mine a couple of years ago there were a few for sale. Now they very, very rarely come up. Keep an eye out and move fast. The last one sold in about 24 hours. They are worth the wait if you can find one. Great cars.

    Learning to drive the R

Turbo lag? I reckon the torque curve is very even lol. Just drop down a gear or 2 and let the engine rev like it's designed to do!!!

    Learning to drive the R

I recently took my R on a 500 klm round trip up to Victoria's mountains. Our rural roads can be pretty nasty in places. It handled it superbly. And going up the twisty mountain roads was magic. I also have a 2012 RS Clio. It has great handling too but it jumps and skips on bumps compared to the...

How many RCZ manual 200hp in Oz?

I've been told 32 RCZ-R came to Oz. Others say 35. Either way, not many. As for the others, I have no idea lol It can't be many. You rarely see any of them on the road.

    Common electrical problem.

Mine does the same thing. Battery protection module has been suggested as a possible cause. I haven't fixed mine yet.

Battery charge or electrical supply faulty

@Curly keep us updated as I haven't even bothered trying to fix mine yet. But I do want to fix it one day!

    Greetings from South Australia

I have one intermittent fault which I can safely ignore. "Battery charge or electrical system faulty." Probably a faulty sensor. The culprit could be the battery protection unit. Pretty expensive to fix and it might not fix it anyway. Stupid sensors lol.
