    Are you sure it said risk of fire and not risk of ice? Was the outside temperature between -3 and 3 by any chance?

    Are you in the UK? Chances are you don't have a replaceable fuel filter.

    A/C puts increased heat load on the engine and cooling system, therefore it might be the case that if the ECM thinks there's an issue with the thermostat, it doesn't allow the compressor to he switched on. The pressure sensor is important as well.

    You are not going to get a/c working until you fix these. A/C pressure sensor is definitely needed for it to work. The thermostat is probably required as well.

    It's a complicated system but diagnostics can help. If the HVAC module sees something wrong with its inputs, it will not engage the compressor. Rather than stabbing in the dark, just go to a garage that has proper diagnostic equipment and can read the HVAC DTCs out. The unit itself is carryover...

    Has the vehicle been connected to Diagbox? If so, oes the HVAC ECU have any DTCs stored? What about the value readout regarding pressures, temperatures etc?

    The immobilizer is software based (and is standard for irrespective of the presence of an alarm system). Absolute values of the compression test are not really important, what's significant is relative values between the 4 cylinders.

    Sounds like a duff thermostat.

    That's the high pressure fuel pump. The oil cooler is at the base of the oil filter.
