I need to replace my fuel filter on my Peugeot 1.6 Petrol 2011. Can anybody help with instructions or video, please? My friend Google did not help at all? I found one video on youtube but it was done for Diesel, not the petrol engine.
Thank you very much in advance.

Are you in the UK? Chances are you don't have a replaceable fuel filter.

I'm sure the filter on the petrol is none serviceable, or is included in some part of the tank assembly.

Why do you think you need to replace fuel filter in the first place?

Surely that's a backward move by Peugeot, filters are exactly that - filters, and they catch all the crap and eventually become clogged leading to reduced flow, so these should be accessible and changeable IMHO.

You can look at it one of two ways.
Blame Peugeot for designing it, or the Austrians for building it like that [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

There are variants, depending. If you lock at service box, there are some with internal filters, some with external.

Maybe it depends on country and perception about the cleanliness of the fuel available.

If you have access to service box:

public.servicebox.peugeot.com

and type your VIN number in you should be able to find out if yours has the external type or not.
