Risk of fire warning light

Hi just driving Cov- Stoke on M6. Heater on. Warning light comes on in centre panel saying " warning risk of fire" . I switched the heater off and it went away.
But I think I need to know what the problem is as I will be needing the heater.
Has anyone else had this?
Can't seem to find anything, even after extensive googling....

There is a known issue where there are blanking caps under the central console for the heated tubes these can work loose and fall off which has been known to overheat the audio system I wonder if this may be your problem?

Are you sure it said risk of fire and not risk of ice? Was the outside temperature between -3 and 3 by any chance?
