The Banter Thread

Re: How many shades of Pearl White? - banter thread!

I was determined to be there. A case of getting a swap or telling management that I wasn't available. For me it is overtime that we are "expected" to do. One Sunday in three. 60Hrs in a normal week & 72Hrs with the Sunday, not too bad as our contract says 40Hrs with a reasonable level of overtime!!! Define reasonable.

Re: How many shades of Pearl White? - banter thread!

This weekend is part of my working week, i work 12hr shifts nights and days, for me to do a sicky i would lose too much money, plus i've only just come off sick.
My only option was a swap , but it's hard to get someone to do 2 swaps in a row, i would need saturday night and sunday night off.

Change in name but still the same banality

What's the score with Sunday jactac? My trip is in question as I had two punctures on my way home last night  I was so annoyed at the lack of breakdown cover that I abandoned Pearl2. Will go and see if she is still there and see if I can get her mended if she is  Not good is it :?:

Not good to get 2 punctures m8, but look on the bright side, you abandoned Pearl2 and left her to defend herself, with a bit af good fortune she will of been brushed over by a graffiti artist and got rid of that horrid magnolia colour.

Tomorrows definitely off for me m8, the guy i had my hopes on for the swaps at work came home from hols with a broken wrist, so thats the end of that.
If you do go have a good day.

By the way that paint job looks far better.

You are a star M8. My bestest loves your sense of humour as do I. So looking forward to tomorrow only wish one or both Kerry's could have made it. Would have made my day even more memorable. Be thinking of you both.

Well that's me bathed & shaved. Watered and tableted. Camera at the ready. Wife in bed. Forum checked and replied to. So it's time. I'm off, see as many of you there as possible. Not sure how we will know each other. Unless I stand by my Pearl2 like the forums "vainest person"

Sorrry that I wouldn't be seeing everyone that I would have liked to, but I do understand.

Jactac. I suspect you are at work right now. Sorry that you missed the HQ meet. It was fantastic and would have been nice to have met up with ya.

I did applaud Mr Shiney and would do so again. Some people on the forum are so well balanced that they have a chip on both shoulders. I think that now and again it does no harm to bring them up with a start. I too have had a tough time and luxuries were non existent. I too have worked my socks off to get my hands on a dream car. I don't particularly want to be told that I have wasted my money or that I'm the vainest forum member. Nor others be told that they have chosen the wrong combination. We are all individuals and the car park at Coventry proved that. So many variation on the same theme. Awesome

So let the balanced people remove a chip or two and not worry about other peoples choices or acquisitions, and then they won't need to be surprised when one or more of their victims reply back as forcefully.

Very nicely put my good friend, however, I totaly disagree with that fool shineys comments and shallow attitude, bragging about money and possessions is disrespectful !
It's disgusting that anyone should brag about their wealth, god that sort of person is my pet hate, just look at whats going on around us these days, then you have someone brag about how many possessions they own, it's sickening

Anyway I hope you had a good day, shame we couldnt make it meet in person. :(
ONE DAY THOUGH YOUR PEARL2 AND MY COLGATE BRILLIANT WHITE OPAL WILL MEET HEAD TO HEAD

I reckon that this is the ideal location for a good rant. So any of you well balanced individuals, (those with a chip on both shoulders) who wish to vent your spleen then I guess that there is no better location on this forum than right here.
