Teep...that looks very, very nice! I am starting to really like the RCZ in white but alas, not available in Chile. Only black & shark grey. Hopefully if things pan out I will be getting some quads to add to my RCZ...it would certainly be unique down this end of the world (although after 4 months of ownership I still haven't seen another on the roads!!)

Hi fonfon,

It's great to hear you are happy with your quads, we are really happy with the way they change the look of the car, and they are proving to be really popular.

I thought I would just reply regarding your comments on the fact that the two outside pipes are showing signs of taking most of the exhaust gases out of the system rather than it being equal across all four outlets.

We noted this during our development and did consider ways of balancing the gas outlet, but we decided that it was best not to overcomplicate the system and potentially introduce issues with restrictions and strange noises (like whistles etc).

The reason you are noticing this is based on the fact that exhaust gases will always take the route of least resistance, and due to the way the gas flows through the quad conversion, it just so happens that it results in two outside outlets carrying most of the exit gases.

We did notice that when the revs rise, this becomes less apparent, and we felt that the important criteria was really to get the ‘left to right’ balance correct as this would be really noticeable. Give it time, as your other outlets will blacken. We have RCZ's here that have had the conversion on for some months now and look equally dirty, although that may be due to the fact that they don't get cleaned that often.......

We set out to offer a fully working quad outlet that gave the customer smoke out of both sides (as that was what most people wanted) at a quality and price that would be acceptable through our network of Dealers.

I hope you continue to enjoy your RCZ, and the quad conversion.

Regards,

Richard.

Hi lionhart,

Yes and no......

There's a nice straight answer for you.

Basically you remove the lower diffuser section (the black plastic part where the reverse and fog lamp unit is mounted). This is fixed with 3 torx bolts underneath and is clipped around the top. Remove the torx bolts to gain access to the standard trim bracket. Once the standard trim and mount has been removed (this does require the plastic welds on the bracket to be cut or broken) the rest of the diffuser will just need a sharpe pull and it should unclip, remember to disconnect the wiring to the light unit before pulling the diffuser too hard.

It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to remove the diffuser once you have got over the shock of having to pull your pride and joy apart......

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Richard.

I'm from Austria (where the RCZ is build by Magna in Graz) and ordered the feline pack quad exhaust extension from a dealer in Great Britain. Yesterday I received the package and I was more than surprised. The quality is excellence and the technical realisation is outstanding and well-thought out!!! A very good fitting instruction with beautiful pictures made it very easy to mount it on my RCZ.
I'm astonished, why the package is only available in UK. I think Peugeot Germany and Austria should import this excellence quad exhaust extension from Peugeot UK to offer this on the German and Austrian market.
MANY MANY THANKS to Perrys for delivering the package to Austria - you are a excellent Peugeot dealer.
MANY MANY THANKS to the developer of the pack - Peugeot UK!!! You made my dreams of quad exhaust for the RCZ come true!!!

Greetings from Austria

Hi

Can anyone advise on the leadtime for the quad system, I placed the order with my dealer nearly three weeks ago & they still cannot advise when it will be available.

Hi GT RCZ,

You need to ask your Dealer to read Product and Pricing Letter 519, which outlined the ordering process via a Fax order form. My guess is that they have looked at the system and as it is not showing as commercialised they haven't actually ordered it. If they order using the correct procedure they would have it on their next stock order, and therefore on your car not long after that......

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Richard.

Thanks for the information, called the dealer today to chase up & they advised me about the fax ordering system.

Advised part should be in stock in about 5 days, Not sure wether you intervened or not but thanks.
