NG4 New Firmware R42.01

I find it easy to download as torrent and whenever some new map is available I try to find it on http://www.t411.in/torrents/search/?search=NG4 where the most recent is http://www.t411.in/torrents/cartographie-wip-com-3d-navidrive-3d-ng4-psa-2014-2015-firmware-42c which has been mentioned in this thread before and comes with 42c firmware. This is what I have on my car at the moment and works fine.

Not to worry, worth checking that forum for the next update though, I understand that there are two a year. Not entirely sure when they are released though

Update on installing new firmware / maps / speed cams

Had a couple of problems, the firmware installed fine, the maps loaded ok, but then a message "Loading maps, please wait" stayed on, went through the process again twice more before getting in touch with the ebay seller who sent me new map usb's which worked.

pretty simple but a bit of scary moment when the "please wait" message would not go, i thought i had bricked it...

still, would recommend the purchase.

Is there any more updated firmware than the 42.03? Someonte told me that there was one firmware were we can use bluetooth to stream music from the phone. Is that true?

No, the NG4 doesn't have that ability.
The person was probably talking about the RT6.

Hi there, im new here and i have allready found 2016-1 maps for my rcz but i have not update yet.
I see that firmware 42.01c is out, but i have looking for it unsucessfully... Anyone has a link for download or it is allready included on maps 2016-1 ?

Probably the best place is Peugeot dealership or the gpsunderground.com.
The firmware discs are not that expensive I found <£10.

I have the RT6 system so I'm not really able to help the the NG4 system.

Meanwhile i have allready found it and sucessfully update it (firmware).
But unfortunly the maps 2016-1, have not work (maybe some fake maps), and i update for 2015-1..
Still looking for 2015-2 or 2016-1.

The latest maps for the RT6 unit - just released this month are 2015-2 data so I think that would apply to the NG4 system maps too.

Hi everyone
I have a 2010 rcz with the ng4 Sat nav, updated it with the disc I got from my local dealer as the sat nav would cut out after about half an hour. So I've updated the Sat nav which took a couple of attempts and now it will not play a CD more than 2.34 mins. Tried to factory reset it but doesn't alter the firmware update. I have also tried different cds so that cannot be blamed. Any help would be much appreciated thanks

I have never played with the NG4, is there anything in the setting to limit playing time? Probably not, but worth a look.

Unfortunately not, the screen will freeze them reboot itself after a minute or so. Tried it on one song and it froze at 2.34 and another song at 3.34 minutes both from the same CD.
