I have found a slight problem with my LED Daytime running lights. One side is now much brighter than the other side. I can count the LED's on the dim side whilst the brighter side is just one bright light. When I turn off the ignition the brighter side remains lit for a time whilst the dim side goes out immediately.
Any thoughts?
Similar problem here! New RCZ with vision pack.
The brand new 380/360s were at first OK, but this evening, after using the headlights for the first time (!) the driver's side DRL comes on OK, but the near-side only stays lit for a breif second, and then goes out. It's not the unit as swapping them makes no difference. I wonder if it's an issue with the 'dipping' function.
I've put the bulbs back for now. :helpme:

Milli  the reason this happens is the leds need very little current to operate un like normal tungsten sidelight bulbs and when you turn the the ignition off and leave the car there will still be some ever so slight current left in the circuit that the led bulb will pick up on and i bet you its the passenger side just like my car so dont threat

@jassy06 oh wow that looks nice haha. sadly i found 2 of the LEDs on my DRL blown today. They lasted less than 6 months and I bought them from autobulbs (not cheap). time to go shopping for new LEDs !

Get them they are way,way nicer, Mucho brighter, faster to light up when braking and wont blow like a normal stop/tail light does, and if you are thinking of getting them its the red versions
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/380-Ul ... rch=c17637

Unfortunately 'out-of-stock' :( I'll search around.

One question though does the LED brighten when the brakes are applied. i.e. does the brightness change or is there another bulb that comes on when the brake is applied (sorry probably an obvious answer but I've not removed the current bulb yet)?

Re: Changing the DLR / sidelight to LED

So...in summary..as i don't have the "vision pack"...it is recommended to change the main headlight and the sidelights to LEDs. However, if i want to do the main headlights i need a converter kit? Is it possible to do just the sidelights? If i do, what is the aesthetic drawback. What exactly are the recommended bulbs for each (if i don't want a converter kit)? What is this likely to set me back and are they relatively easy to fit?

Jassy....your lights look money

HI mr rizzo  no use just changing the sidelights/drls bulbs just on there own as you would then a white sidelight and yellowish dipped beam light its best to change the dipped beam also H7 bulbs as they are called these are the H7 UPGRADE BULBS i have and match the led 380/92 smd led bulbs
