Right ok,
received the 380/360/5 watts this morning, they DO dim when on sidelights and go back to their brightest mode when on DLR and they look better when inside the lens.

But heres the thing, HOW DO YOURS JASSY LOOK SO BRIGHT ?
Come on buddy theres someting your not telling us :eusa-think:
Are your lights wired into the national grid

Mine look nothing like yours in this pic, :(

Great once I take a step forward, I read updates to see this that and the other...at this moment I have half functioning reg plate LEDs, DRLs that don't do something, and maybe I need to buy some other DRLs (360 5W something which I cannot find).

So what gives ???

Zombie,
what probs are you having ?
Do you also have the 380/92's ?
You can get the 380/360 5 watts from Hids4u (£25.01 per pair) or Autobulbsdirect (£25.55 per pair), in fact they are the same company working out of the same office, but offer two different prices ?

I just ordered the 380/360 from Autobulbsdirect using a 5% discount code, and earlier I ordered the Diamond H7s.

I will look at what is up with my reg plate LEDs tomorrow.

Looks like I will be selling some bulbs soon, or just keep them in the back as spares.

Mr Z if you have the vision pack on your rcz then its not H7's you need its H1's main beam diamond vision

just a thought my car is on a downward facing drive way and i had the camera held quite high as well so the photo is looking right into the lense as the drls are not mount in the centre of the deflector so maybe thats the case i really dont know :wtf: :)

MMMM, interesting, a downward facing drive !!!

I got 2 options,

1. Gotta move to a house on a hill to have lights like Jassy's :eusa-think: .

2. Hang off my guttering by my testies and swing past the car taking a quick snap as i fly past hoping for some bright glare

Well my battered testies have had a bit of a kicking this week in training, so swinging from the guttering is out, so it looks like we will be packing up for a house move instead.

Woof Woof my loyal mutt wont be happy moving to a new home, he's got a lot of baggage to drag with him, and i know how he feels

Umm,
For me in all honesty it may be just a tad brighter, but it works as it should.

If you look at the pic of jassys 380/5w they look great, but like he said this is probably down to camera angle and lighting.

I will take another pic later with both bulbs in place and see if theres an obvious difference.

When i was having a play around with both bulbs i thought the 380/92 looked brighter outside the lens, it has so many LEDS on it compared to the 380/5w, but i didnt try them both side by side inside the lens.

If your not concerned that they do not dim on sidelight then go for the 380/92.
I have a brandnew set going for grabs £20 inc UK p&p. Retail price is £28.

Re: Changing the DLR / sidelight to LED

Guys and girls have you found a LED bulb to replace the front indicators 581's ?
I have now tried the 68 SMD version and the output was far to low to be sensible on the road.

Idea's ? ?
