Re: Changing the DLR / sidelight to LED

Yes they are a tight fit but they do fit, trust us, don't give up. I have sold a lot of these and some people get it done in 15 minutes while others take a couple of hours. Either way once they are installed you will be happy you did this upgrade.

Hi, just ordered 2 DRL bulbs to replace mine. One has just stopped working so thought I'd give these a go. Another job for my husband I think :)

Thanks for that , I'll give it a twist tomorrow :) was just a bit worried I'd smash them . Thanks again for your help .
You can GENTLY push the lamp backing towards the front of the car (away from the bulb)
IF you push too hard it pops off the adjuster, then you have to stick your fingers in and pull it back onto the adjuster, it clicks back on easy.

Paul .. This happened to me ... The language that came out of me would get me banned from this site if I printed it .. Like you say though it just clicks back in :)

Yep, me too, thats how I know, and how I know they just pop back on, if I had to fit another set, I would pop the reflector off to fit the bulbs and then pull it back onto the adjusters.

Re: Changing the DLR / sidelight to LED

It seems that each RCZ is different especially when it comes to installing these DRL's. For me I can replace them in 5 minutes as access and wiring length is perfect. But I have been contacted on numerous occasions about how hard they are to install stating they are too long etc. However they do fit but sometimes they are a real hassle to do so. I wish I had an answer for making it easier but unfortunately I do not. Perserverance is all I can suggest.

Being anxious is the biggest draw back to fitting these bulbs ie lack of confidence taking your time is paramount to being successful with fitting these bulbs just remember test the bulbs with the ignition on before turning and twisting them into the headlamp housing.l can fit these bulbs easily within 5 minutes now because l ain't frightened to do so
