7th Annual RCZ Yorkshire Meet - 19th May 2018

What a great day was had by all! Thanks to Kerry and John for all their efforts in putting on a great meet this year with a great drive out through some stunning scenery and great roads ending in a super meal at the lion inn even the weather behaved and gave us a stunning day.
Great to meet up with new and old friends sharing our passion for the RCZ.
Congratulations to Mick and Jeanette (pelcodoras) for scooping the favourite car of the meeting award with their stunning flip wrapped R that stole the show in the glorious sunshine.
We even had the royal seal of approval! (See photos).
Here’s looking forward to future events coming up this year and roll on next years Yorkshire meet.

Yesterday saw the 7th Annual RCZ Yorkshire Meet take place. What a day we had !

The sun shone.
The owners turned up in their droves.
The cars glistened (some were multi coloured !).
And we enjoyed a great drive through the North Yorkshire Moors, the local villages, a stop at the Yorkshire Gliding Club watching the gliders fly on the thermals, culminating in a lovely meal back at The Lion.

We had a few prizes to hand out to people.

The furthest travelled prize went to Sophie Ree (RCZ Owners Group FB) at 260 miles, just pipping Jason to the prize.

The least distance travelled was Stephen Gray and Marie (RCZ Owners Group FB) who travelled 21 miles.

The best presented car prize went to Mick (Plecodoras) from the RCZ Forum, with his ever changing coloured RCZ R.

A special prize went to Jeff Rczash and Frances for attending just about every Meet that’s ever organised in the UK and Europe, including those that are cancelled !

Special thanks to Sharon Mason (RCZ Owners Group) for leading one of the convoys and doing such a great job [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Thank you to everyone that attended and made it such a great day.

Firstly, I want to thank Kerry for organising the 7th Yorkshire RCZ Meeting, and secondly I would like to thank everyone who voted for my car on the day, allowing me to win the Favourite Car of the Day with my newly wrapped RCZ R.
The day was a complete success with many beautiful cars on display and the weather
( for once on the top of't moors ) was fantastic. The atmosphere of the day was brilliant and everyone so welcoming to all who attended and those who were enjoying the day for the first time, like Mick ( Bailey ), Jason ( Sxefm ) and Jonathon ( Guppy ) and not to forget my brother and his wife who surprised me just the week before by turning up at my house in their very own RCZ. All the reports I have had from the above, was all positive and praising Kerry and everyone for making them feel so welcome. And big thanks from myself and my wife for it was only our second Yorkshire meet and I was made up !!

I wasn't sure at first if I had made the right choice, until the day it rolled out of the unit for the first time and into the sunlight and I was delighted, more than meets my expectations....

You have done remarkable on your new R considering the condition when you first got it, it was like a looking into a mirror the shine was so good. All the cars that day were beautifully presented, testament to their owners.

What a collection of beautiful RCZs! Lovely! All of them!

I regret not having taken part in that meet but I was on the other side of Europe pushing my R across few countries.
There are some of you who have put so much efforts in your RCZ! The snake-green one, nnnniiiicceee! Plecodoras' flip paint is making my head spin. But for good reasons! Terrific paint job! My first thought was, what a nice bronze tone. And then I saw the other pics. You should post more pics of your car!
I'd be ashamed to be part of the show with my daily R, haha. She is tidy but not shiny.
