The timing chain is due to be replaced at about 180.000km (110.000 miles). Mine was changed at about 90.000 miles due to heavy duty usage (equates to flat out driving like Schumacher would sit in my rear view mirror).

Changing gear box oil is essential on our cars. I had to convince my garage to change the oil on my car. They insisted, it is a lifetime fill, so it doesn't need to be changed. Yeah, right. Lifetime, till it dies. I'd change it every other second service. Do not wait till it is too late...

So finally I made it to test drive the facelifted 308 GTi. I will post my experiences here later on when I'm done with my project work. Stay tuned :greetings-wavingblue:
