For me, there is too much BMW in it. As a fan of true Japanese sport cars and owner of Jap cars I disapprove and turn my head towards Alpine A110 :beer:

There is a noticeable degradation with those shocks. But nothing of alarming. They still work as they should. I put the car occasionally on a shock test machine and the results show they are still good. Would I want the R to be firmer? No :lol:

I'm at about 120k miles on my RCZ and there are no signs of them wearing off. And I put them to proper stress almost on a daily basis. Autobahn bends with brutal compression at high speeds. Bad tarmac and potholes (oh yes, we have them more and more over here in ze Germany, no money for roads)...
