Your R does kick out the butt when provoked. I do it a lot on motorway exits. You need to provoke it and the speed is pretty high where it does happen. But in general, our R does that. It isn't proper drifting as the angle is low. It is more of a "I dance with you through the corners" agility...

Please keep the engine oil level at max all the time. Do not rely on the in car display information on oil only. Dive under the bonnet and keep it at max. This is very important for the longevity of RCZ engines.

Now that is a shocking diagnosis. Never heard of this problem on the R engine. If the diag is true, why not taking the car to an engine specialist for a second opinion?

42.01c was and is the latest SW update for the NG4 system. Since then no updates have been published and no new ones will be published in future. System is discontinued. It doesnt stream music via bluetooth. Not on the iPhone, not on the Android.

Actually the results you see on my R is the output of 3rd or even 4th run on the dyno. They started in wrong gear and I had to tell them that the R has shorter gearing compared to other RCZs. So they did another run. But as always, there was a blower running in front of the car while on dyno.

I sat in one of those (but driving not included). What an extraordinary car it is. For me the sitting position is just perfect. As it is with the 720S in general. But not my price tag level :lol:

Did you do the run during those hot days of 2018 summer? While I did the dyno run on my R it was about +15 °C outside. And none of the subsequent runs showed a drop in bhp figures. See the link in my bio below.

Re: +100.000 miles with the RCZ R (my story) I have not watched the whole process of taking the intake apart. But he took off all the piping to the left of the engine. And then inserted the camera on the back side of the engine. It wasn't long till he touched the intake valves.

Jeez, they look atrocious! That car was not sleeping in a garage. Now I do understand why you want them to be wrapped.

Pictures would be helpful here. I haven't had any issue with those arches on my R. They still look like new. The only detailing I do to them is to apply some Meguiars Ultimate Black twice a year. That's it.

As an RCZ R owner unfortunately I cannot help you. When it comes to wiring, I give up.
