Hmm, I’m thinking maybe I need an OBD Reader now while mine is covered under the extended warranty.
Btw that hp pump on eBay says it isn’t compatible with mine either, so that’s 2 of the 4 variants it’s not compatible with :eusa-think:
It’s my understanding that any brake disc should originally be completely flat (no lip). I have also heard of discs being “skimmed” to remove any lip that has formed. The only issue here is that you do need a minimum thickness on any disc for it to be both legal, and more importantly, safe...
We haven’t escaped the wet stuff over here either, had my flying lesson cancelled AGAIN today, this time, low cloud base, it wa snow on the runway last time.
Couldn’t even wash the car instead :helpme:
All RCZ petrol models have a cam chain. There have been many threads regarding the tensioners failing, but this seems to have been mainly restricted to Mk1 RCZ’s with only the occasional Mk2 needing changing. The Mk2, including I believe the R had modified parts fitted.
The old saying works...
Aircon re-gas is recommended every 2 years. Mine is nearly 5 & hasn’t been done yet. If it blows ice cold in hot weather it doesn’t need doing.
As for the heater, the aircon will not affect this, so even if a re-gas is necessary, it would not cause your problem.
If the fan is still blowing...
From the symptoms, my first thought would have been a coil. I don’t know about the redex causing issues, I have added half a bottle to every fill up since I got the car & it does seem to thrive on it. In extreme cold weather, mine sometimes seems to rev a bit high on start up for a few seconds...
Not all dealers actually know what they are talking about when it comes to wheels & sensors.
My main dealer told me I couldn’t swap my front to rear to even tyre wear because they are coded to the actual corner they’re fitted to.
I since found out on the forum, members swap them round all the...
Yeah, some models had electric seats, didn’t realise yours was manual, but in any case, the mirrors should work for a short time after ignition is turned off.
Screen mirroring, I believe is possible, but I think you have to use miracast or similar, it’s not something that I have any knowledge...
it will work for a while after ignition is turned off, like the seat motors.
its worth earring in mind, if you ever park on a busy road (I try to avoid it at all costs, but on occasion its unavoidable) its worth folding the mirrors in manually before turning the car off, then they won't fold...
guarantee they will need it for a day to "diagnose" the problem, then they'll need to order the parts, then they'll need it back to fit them.
In a perfect world, a dealer that knows there is an issue with certain parts would keep a stock of those parts on site :eusa-think:
just hope they...
The mirror selection switch on the drivers door. You need to pull it back towards the window switches & the mirrors will stay folded in until you pull it back again.
