Or, you could use the anti gravity device, which I think must have been a factory fitted optional extra :eusa-think:
I think it was part of the “hover pack”. About the only pack that wasn’t fitted to mine, although, once or twice over the Lanner Works Hump Back Bridge on the way to Wakefield...
Yes, you have to renew it each year, but I think it can only be taken out 3 times. Once the car reaches 6 years old, I don’t think you can take out the Platinum warranty, I think it’s a lesser one that’s available for cars of that age & older.
Typical “insurance” really, they will only cover...
That’s the one I have had for a couple of years, the Peugeot Platinum warranty paid out the £1600 for my clutch assembly replacing in total. Certainly made it worth my while taking out the extra warranty
If you do a search (EBay is probably cheapest) for hockey puck, you can buy a black rubber disc, in which you can easily cut a groove to fit over the jacking point.
Personally I prefer to use the cross members and a low profile trolley jack. There are several threads on here on the subject of...
I have definitely read on here somewhere (may have been a few years ago now) cam sensor failing. I seem to remember similar fault codes showing. I believe the sensor may have had to be replaced a couple of times? Worth a few searches on here as it might help you out if you can find the post.
It’s my understanding that you can re set (remove) the fault codes using an OBD reader & software. I don’t have one myself so I can’t advise further, but I’m sure there are others on here that have done this procedure.
Have they checked it since replacing the battery ?, dead batteries on RCZ’s have been know to throw up all kinds of issues, so maybe the brake led’s Were linked to the dead battery.
Just a thought, it would save the problem of finding a replacement.
If you stick a new battery in there & get the faults cleared, see if they return. If the car is running fine as you say, I wouldn’t worry too much. Even water ingress into the boot lock has been known to throw up all kinds of electrical issues, but as far as I know, it’s usually actual faults...
Rightly so Chris, too much shoddy workmanship around, & too many people putting up with it. Good job you noticed, they probably thought they would just get away with it.
A couple of years ago we were contacted by a company who had a grant from the government to fit a finite number of electric car charging points free of charge to the end user.
I gratefully accepted, and they duly fitted a charging point in my garage FOC. My thoughts were that it could only be a...
The performance figures are very impressive, but the price figure isnt
They do seem to have thrown a few design features at it, Toyota Gt / Nissan 370Z front end, Ford Puma rear, attempted RCZ roof line, failed on the double bubble though.
I would definitely have one, but they would...
