The sidelights don’t work either, not sure why the bulbs are there, but they don’t light. Selecting sidelights simply dims the DRL’s.

The thing about a rattling timing chain is that the rattle isn’t the issue. It’s just a symptom. We all know the consequences of a timing failure, and that doesn’t bear thinking about. I would want clarification from someone who knows what they are talking about, so that’s not necessarily a PUG...

There is a place in Wakefield that also does Diamond Cut refurbishing. I believe their prices range from £90 - £120 per corner depending on the work required (those prices may be a bit out of date). I will PM you their number, I don’t know the name of the firm.

Actually, the police recommend RCZ’s if you want to avoid wheels being nicked, apparently the thieves can’t get them off. Every time they try to jack the thing up, the bl00dy sills bend under :eusa-whistle:

A lot of places that can refurbish wheels can’t do diamond cut as it requires seperate machinery. I believe the process is similar to that described by robrac, but before the lacquer coat is applied, the wheel is placed on a diamond cutting jig, and the front face is exposed as required. Then...
