It’s true, if you leave it until the low oil warning comes on, it’s possibly already too late.
there was/is a thread about oil types for the Z. A search should reveal all 👀
There is a thread, or there was on the old site, so I would think it will be here somewhere. One member did split the unit and replaced the led’s with some sort of led strip.
i don’t think there is an easy way of doing it as it is a sealed unit.
have you tried breakers? There are quite often a...

I was going to do it a third time this morning but it has only just stopped raining. There are a lot of construction projects in our village at the moment, and couple that with @ 5 lots of roadworks, there isn’t a road that isn’t constantly covered in mud, so it’s a new record for my Z ……0 to...
It sounds like a very ambitious and complicated project.
I think crowd funding was originally meant for those doing good for others, or to benefit those who are funding the project.
I don’t really see what would be in it for anyone offering funds. The only person to benefit would be you.
It is...
On the subject of looking after your Z, One thread thats worth reading is viewtopic.php?f=38&t=5286
You can follow it meticulously or cherry pick the bits you want to try, your car will love you for it
Sounds very familiar.
Evans Halshaw Wakefield had a dedicated Peugeot dealership, they also had a Vauxhall dealership.
They have closed the Peugeot premises, and made the other one half & half.’
I have been very frustrated with this dealership ever since this move.
:greetings-wavingblue: Welccome :text-welcomewave:
Always good to haVe a new member, and nice to see that it’s not your first Z, so you will probably know quite a lot about them already.
As for the meet check out viewtopic.php?f=16&t=13063
Don’t forget, we love to see photos on here
I think an email to Peugeot UK detailing the course of events is in order, followed by a call to see what they intend to do about it. It’s their name on the line & if they give franchises out, they need to ensure the garage is keeping standards up.
Thanks for that. Mine is Moroccan Red, 2013. I did think that there was only one red colour in the UK for the phase II RCZ’s, not sure what my paint code is, but I’ll have a look when I get chance.
I have recently had all the alloys re-cut and I am very pleased with the results.
There has been...
I don’t, no, there’s no point as I don’t have a spare.
I have always carried the kit that came with the car. I also have cover in case of a puncture with the AA through Peugeot.
I guess if you have a spare now, you will have to carry some sort of jack with you. If you intend to use a scissors...
I don’t go anywhere near the jacking points. I only use cross members, I use a low profile trolley jack (Halfords).
A standard trolley jack would work, but you would probably need to drive into blocks or similar to give enough height under the car for I]one to fit.
