There are 2 probabilities I know of. HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) or Coil Packs. The RCZ is known for having issues with both.
I don’t have an OBD reader, so I’m not familiar with codes, but I’m sure someone will be along shortly that is.
My car suffered similar symptoms a couple of years...
Down to two on the estate now. Mine & a 65 plate white one. I do still see quite a few out and about in the area though. Not sure why they seem so popular round here in comparison to the rest of the U.K.
The Nissan Juke has been chopped in for a Merc SLC now, very nice actually.
You need to download the full map software to usb, then when you update your maps, you can choose which ones to do.
You have to do them one at a time anyway.
I’m not sure about the deactivation link, you could try messaging @tianorth to see if he has a solution.
If you have a look back through this thread you will find links to download the latest firmware, along with map updates and speed camera updates.
If your car is not accepting full postcodes you definitely have old firmware installed.
Yes, and as you have correctly pointed out, it’s been 5 years 8 months since anyone (you) has mentioned this problem on this thread.
The other comments from last year simply referred to oil levels and checking frequency.
It’s not exactly a common fault with the RCZ (any variant).

Welcome 🖖🏻.
There are quite a few threads on here regarding the spare wheel issue. I’ve had my Z for @ 8 years and never had a spare, but I know a lot of people prefer to have that peace of mind.
Here’s an example for you… Spare wheel - Solutions available
It ran out at the beginning of this month. I could have renewed it for another 2 years until the car was 10 years old, then it’s no longer available. I decided to bank the £ thirty something each month instead. The car is hardly covering any mileage these days since we bought the Range Rover, so...
I have had my GT200 for almost 8 years now. It was on a main dealer service contract until this year. I have never been overly happy about the work carried out by my MD, in fact I have had to complain or take the car back on more than one occasion.
I had my car serviced this year by a local very...
Welcome 🖖🏻
One accessory they don’t supply is a spare pair of Boxers, you will need them when you hit the Rev limiter in each gear & get half way round a corner you have no right to get round at the speed you can in an RCZ.
Not only one of the best looking cars on the road today, but also one...
This is a very old thread, but yes, you don’t need runflats on the RCZ.
If you do a forum search you will find plenty of opinions on tyres. I have Michelin PS4S on mine all round. Not the cheapest tyres, but the grip and handling is superb. Road noise is good too, and longevity is great on the...
I think that decals are a very personal choice. When I was younger I always wanted to make my cars look different to anyone else’s, or if I saw someone’s car that I thought looked awesome I would want to copy it.
My personal choice for the RCZ is to leave it exactly as it is. I love the lines...
The LED mod has been mentioned on the Range Rover forum I am a member of as some members have the same issues with their cars, but as Ian has said, it’s not a mod I have seen discussed on here.
I think on the RR forum there has been varied results, or too many were positive.
