Roof rail Removal

Hi everyone
Any advice on removing the roof rails

The removal of the roof rails is very easy..
Step 1.
Remove the windscreen wiper arms, by removing the 17m locking nut.

Step 2.
Remove the plastic cover from the windscreen wiper motor two Torx screws, this then let's you get to the fixing Torx screw one main fixing screw.

Step 3.
Remove the door seal from the top only and front side to expose eight small Torx screws remove all screws

Step 4.
Now this stage you will need a second person to lend you a hand with removing the arches.
Now from the front pull the arches towards you pulling up at the same time you need someone to hold the arche as t
You do this to stop it swinging about when you get to the rear there is a location plastic pin pulls up not to damage this pin.

Step 5.
Arches now removed clean underneath areas ready to put arches back on..

Step 6.
Refitting the roof arches in reverse....
Note. Don't over tighten the eight screws around the door frame and push up the rubber seal up tight...
