    Here we go again.

It’s not really a sweeping statement, more of a factual one. The MK1 tensioners were eventually known to have a design fault resulting in them needing to be replaced prematurely. The early replacements were of the same part, causing them to fail more than once. Eventually, a modified part was...

    2011 RCZ 16000 cc petrol

There are quite a few RCZ’s in breakers nowadays (sadly) so as Pedro says, either phone round or do a web search.

    Close to an RCZ....

A phone call from another number, or yours withheld enquiring about the car & saying you are prepared to pay whatever it costs as you really want the car. See what their response is.

    Tyre pressures

I run 35 front & 30 rear. You will need to drive the car to clear the sensor warning. It can take 24 hrs to reset.

Or you could sell it to me for £7k 😆

    "ENGINE FAULT REPAIR NEEDED"

Misfire on cylinder 4 is often associated with a failing HPFP also 🤔

    Spoiler switch

It will be interesting to know if it does deploy automatically. I only use the manual switch when cleaning the car or to mess with the odd boy racer at traffic lights.

    Spoiler switch

I didn’t know they did a version of the Z that had a blank there. The only Z I know of that doesn’t have a deployable spoiler is the R & that doesn’t have any button there as far as I know. Very strange 🤔

    Low tyre pressure alert

TPMS system can take more than 24 hrs to reset itself. When I had mine re-cut, I had warnings for the rest of that day. Next day it was OK.

    Passenger seat immobile

Have you checked the fuses? If the motors were trying to move the seat but it was mechanically jammed, it might have blown a fuse? Also, check the connectors are all pushed in fully.

    Spoiler switch

    Not heard of that before.

    Fuel filter or HPFP?

U.K. RCZ’s only fuel filter is in the fuel tank and is part of the low pressure fuel pump as Pedro has pointed out. If your HPFP is faulty, you should be getting error codes. You should also be experiencing limp mode, misfiring, etc. This can be intermittent with a failing HPFP. You have not...

    Side mirrors - Problem

The mirrors have an option to move when selecting reverse so you can see where the wheel is in relation to a kerb or other vehicle. It sounds like that’s what is happening to you. To sort your problem….. Select reverse gear, adjust the mirrors to where you want them to be when reversing (while...

    Redline

I’ve had mine to the Rev limiter on more than one occasion, so don’t worry, they’re supposed to be driven like that 👍

I must have a Monday morning car rather than a Friday afternoon one 🤞🤫

    Loving my RCZ .. but.....

If you want to try a BSI reset, Here is the BSI reset procedure:- BSI reset.... Put the drivers window down, lift the bonnet & ensure all equipment is switched off. Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from ignition, Wait 3 minutes, disconnect vehicle battery & wait 15 seconds...

    Here we go again.

MK1’s were the model that suffered from tensioner guides failing. The MK2 had very few (relatively) cases. Had mine for over 7 years with no issues.
