    Greetings from South Australia

I have one intermittent fault which I can safely ignore. "Battery charge or electrical system faulty." Probably a faulty sensor. The culprit could be the battery protection unit. Pretty expensive to fix and it might not fix it anyway. Stupid sensors lol.

Just google RCZ-R. A rare car in Oz. 32 (or thereabouts) units imported here.

Beware of misleading fault codes. Find yourself a true expert so you don't follow false leads. BTW I bought my R from a guy in Port Lincoln and had it trucked over to Melbourne. Good luck sorting your car!

Battery electrical fault - repair needed

Re the battery control module. Can I get one from a car wrecker from another Peugeot? Or from a Mini with the same engine? I have an R.

Does anyone know if the RCZ-R has stainless or chrome plated tips? I want to know for cleaning purposes.

    RCZ R FOR SALE......

A red was sold on Carsales earlier this year (or possibly last year) 77,000 klm. Advertised for 30K. A black one sold not too long ago. It had 150,000 klm. It was asking over 30K.

Not likely, but I'll be watching with interest!! I took mine for a drive on some lovely twisty roads near Healesville (Australia) on the weekend. The handling is amazing.

Battery charge or electrical supply faulty

My car throws this fault up occasionally. Car is running fine. Today my mechanic had a look and it scanned zero fault codes. lol. He spoke to a Pug "expert" and said it could be the ECU on top of the battery. Has this been confirmed as a possible culprit? Any other ideas out there? Thanks.

    Roof Arch Scuffs

The plastic coated arches can be restored with heavy cut paint polish. Sounds crazy but it works and doesn't damage the plastic. Mine were worse than yours and came up great. Still looking like new 2 years on. (Car is stored under cover though).

    Tyres

I fitted Contisport Contact 5 to mine. Pretty pricy at 1300 AUD fitted and balanced. I found it tricky to get high end tyres for the rim size. Very good tyre though....

    Non run flat tyres

    I'm In Melbourne. I don't use run-flats and wouldn't even if I could.

May have over filled oil, is this too much?

I removed a touch of oil using a pump from an empty soap container joined onto some plastic tubing. Just stuck it down the dip stick hole. Took a while but worked.
