    Newbie looking for an R

Like I've said before. We don't have salty roads, so used cars tend to be in great condition with even minimal looking after. As long as a car is not left outside in the sun, they preserve very well. That one I posted looked mint!! From what I've read from the UK guys here, some used cars tend...

Here's one just come up in Oz. Asking about 19,000 GPB. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2014-peugeot-rcz-r-manual-my14/SSE-AD-17129820/?Cr=0

Battery charge or electrical supply fault again

I had the same issue when I bought my used RCZ-R. I changed this part which fixed the issue. Its super easy to do yourself with a 13 mm socket. I got mine on Aliexpress. Just check your part number with the online version. It's probably the same part on all RCZ's I'm guessing. It's the circuit...

    RCZ R prices

Whenever one comes on Carsales I save it to track the prices. Anywhere from 28K to 34K I'd guess. Oz used cars are "better" than UK cars since we don't drive on salty roads. Rust is not an issue. Also there is the scarcity factor here. I'm hanging onto mine for the foreseable future.

Anyone from New South Wales Australia

Maybe just join the RCZ Australia group??? I just did. IMHO, there's probably no point starting a RCZ group just for NSW. Edit. just saw there is a group called Peugeot RCZ club NSW.

I really like the R in white (not that I'm biased or anything..:)).

    Electrical gremlins

Very simple to do. I recall removing one battery terminal. A 13 mm socket will undo the bolts. It needs to be a deepish socket. Be very careful of the plastic retainer clip. I dropped mine. Luckily it landed under the car. Then undo the second part of the clip to pull it off. Do the reverse to...

    Newbie looking for an R

OK, so I have an R here in Melbourne. I'd like to check my calipers. What exactly am I looking for and where do I look? Cheers. (y) PS: I have a set of front discs in storage. I got them sent out to Oz from Fish Bros. The cost wasn't too bad as they were on sale. I'm happy to cop the expense...

    Wacky Electrics

Wow that's amazing if it fixed all your issues. I wonder how many people go down a rabbit hole chasing solutions for electrical problems and it's only the circuit board on the module! Such an easy cheap fix!! Keep us posted if it keeps working to fix your issue @ZerokoolRCZ BTW mines still fine...

If you can find a good R, I think they are worth the extra price paid. Mine is amazing. I love it.

    Electrical gremlins

I would send you the sellers details for the one I bought but I can't find it in my order history for some reason. Anyway, my car had the same issue as you and I fixed the problem. My car also had zero fault codes.

That looks exactly like the one I got on Aliexpress.

Battery charge or Electric Supply Fault

I got my car second hand. Looking at the history, it had a new alternator fitted!!! I suspect they were trying to fix this issue. Of course it had nothing to do with the alternator!

Battery charge or Electric Supply Fault

Sounds like the same as mine. This issue won't throw up an error code either. Unfortunately mechanics seem to over rely on error codes to solve issues these days. And RCZ's are famous for throwing up error codes that may not be true! Swapping the circuit board will be a good start.
