Yes. I'm not sure if the cap had snapped or if the housing securing it had so when I eventually get the cap I may have to bodge it because I'm not going to replace the whole assembly just for that.

I bought a washer cover cap from a Peugeot dealer for £83 inc Vat and been waiting a week for it. Just had a phone call stating it can take up to 11 weeks to be delivered. If anyone wants to design a model of it for a 3D printer I'll buy a 3D printer to do it.

I got 1 of the bolts out and I have 2 questions. Is this the correct bolt (image attached) which goes into the centre of the rocker cover? Should these bolts come out without taking the rocker cover off? The other bolt in the centre of the rocker cover doesn't come out and will not tighten either.

I tried to test the screws first to see if they are actually tight. The ones in between the spark plugs which I took pictures of. I tried the left one and that wouldn't tighten. I then loosened the right bolt and then tried to tighten and that would not tighten either now. Is there a trick to...

I think I'll have to take the cover off to find out. Problem is garages are so damn expensive nowadays just for an inspection so I'll wait until Saturday and do it myself.

It's viewable in the 2nd picture I posted between the 3-4 spark plug. The bolt is in the hole. No idea if the bolt is tight.

What would be the recommended solution for that or could it literally be anything?

Here's a better idea of what I'm dealing with. In 1 of the pictures shows the top of the engine and down the bolt hold between spark plugs 3-4 is some orange tape. The other picture is the orange tape taken out of the hole. If I take the tape out there is a hissing noise coming from that hole...

I called a local Garage who were a Peugeot main dealer and they want 23p each so I'll go and get them from there. An actual main dealer about 20 miles away wanted £5 each

A main dealer garage wants around £650 for the Cover, Gasket, bolts and Labour. Will an after market set work just as well as OEM as the OEM is about £200 more. This is what I was thinking but I have no idea on the quality of Car Parts from certain manufacturers...
